No need to find BBC Suffolk then, and MrH, BBC Suffolk have the game but I'm about 5 miles out of range for it on most days. But Daz is doing well enough :).

very good game, morrison scored two amaizing goals. very open end to end stuff, both teams could have won it and when ipswich were pushing for the equaliser westwood made some good saves and even when they beat him, morrison was on the line to head it clear. ipswich created a lot of chances and looked the better team overall but coventry took their chances

Neither was i.. Only saw the last 35 mins, pretty good, wouldnt say i was entralled by it though, but then i was distracted.. Resting my ankle strain meant sitting in front of the tv and football seemed the the best thing to watch! Prob wouldnt have watched either this game or the Community Shield otherwise. Maybe i missed the best bit though!

Anyway, Ipswich possibly deserved something in the period i watched. Cov didnt impress as much as they did in our home game against them last season, their passing definitely seemed sloppier.

Rosenior joins on a season's loan!

Personally i liked Rosenior and would have rather he stayed for his experience as it leaves us at RB with a 20 yr old (whose transfer from Chelski was confirmed this morning) and a teenager who i don't think is up to this level, not yet anyway at least. But of all the players in the squad he was always going to be the one who suffered the most from Rodgers passing game as his passing has never been the best. He's also never been the most popular amongst the fans and by the sounds of it hadn't got off to a good start this season. As he's out of contract next summer this effectively signals the end of his career at Reading (like Harper who's also left us on a season's loan :()

On a day when it felt like someone somewhere was laughing at us with 6 ex players or players out on loan scoring or setting up goals yesterday (or both in the case of Henry at Millwall) combined with our 0-2 defeat, the one that stood out had to be Rosenior for Ipswich! Never scored for us and the only time he even looked like scoring was a decent effort in our last home game of our last season in the Prem v Spurs! Should still be in the squad imo, though obviously i didnt have goalscoring in mind! He'd actually played every league game for us before he joined Ipswich for the rest of the season.

As mentioned elsewhere went to the game yesterday. Had a gut feeling it might finish 1-1..and thats exactly how it turned out.

1st half 1-0 down at HT was poor and Rodgers was possibly 45 mins away from the sack. We were certainly on our way to League 1 with a scoreline, and performance, like that. At the time thought it was a pretty even game but with hindsight Ipswich probably deserved to be ahead. They looked pretty solid in defence (and not bad going forward either) but we didn't really trouble them. Still felt if the performance improved in 2nd half we could get something from the game.

2nd half not sure what happened to Ipswich. Defence looked shaky and the keeper had real trouble dealing with crosses. We completely dominated and when the luck's not in its not in, having a blatent penalty not given and then hitting the bar almost straight after.

Even an Ipswich supporter i know who was at the game said we deserved to win. He was probably happy with the point in the end as i don't think he was expecting much more than that. I've always been of the opinion that luck evens itself out over the course of the season but thats 2 games i've seen where we haven't got the result we deserved. We really should be mid-table now..
