Before you read Kill For Me you should hunt out the first 2 books, as they do reference each other at times. Time Travellers Wife is confusing at times, you could easily get lost in it.

Kill For Me by Karen Rose
The terrifying sequel to DIE FOR ME and SCREAM FOR ME, KILL FOR ME is Karen Rose's most frightening thriller to date. For years District Attorney Susannah Vartanian has refused to allow anyone close to her. Her life changed overnight when as a teenager she was brutally raped by a vicious gang of youths. Detective Luke Papadopoulus is fast approaching burn-out. As a detective working on sex-crimes against children, he will do anything to find those responsible for such evil atrocities. Monica Cassidy is terrified. Kidnapped and held in a bunker with eleven other girls, all victims of a paedophile ring started by Susannah's rapists, she barely escaped with her life when her kidnappers panicked and fled, killing five of the girls as they left. Now Monica is the only one who can identify the ring's members and they know where she is. Will Luke and Susannah be able to keep Monica safe and crack the ring before the remaining girls disappear forever?

Book 3 of 3
This carries on from Scream For Me, to follow this book you have to read Book 2 as some of the characters appear in Book 3, and its a corker of a book, Karen Rose at her best. I shall have to hunt out other books by Karen.

Too Close To Home by Linwood Barclay
When the Cutter family's next-door-neighbours, the Langleys, are gunned down in their house one hot August night, the Cutters' world is turned upside down. That violent death should have come so close to them is shocking enough in suburban Promise Falls, but at least the Cutters can console themselves with the thought that lightning is unlikely to strike twice in the same place. Unless, of course, the killers went to the wrong house...At first the idea seems crazy - but each of the Cutter family has a secret they'd rather keep buried. What was on that old computer teenage Derek and his friend Adam Langley had salvaged? And where is it now? What hold does a local professor and bestselling author have on Ellen Cutter? And what does Jim Cutter know about Mrs Langley that even her husband didn't? To find out who killed the Langleys and why, everybody's secrets are going to have to come out. But the final secret - the secret that could save them or destroy them - is in the one place nobody would ever think of looking...

Mummy Knew by Lisa James.
Rachel asked me to buy her it as it was £3 when we were in Tesco in half-term so I just put it in the basket not realising it's a true story about Lisa being sexually abused as a young child!! Rachel says her friends have read it and suppose she's old enough for the subject matter at 14 and has read it so am reading it myself now. Nothing too graphic really in it.
