What a dire week!!
Stacey: Liked but didn't love. As much as i adore her, i don't think the public will make Stacey the winner. I'd have prefered her to do 'There You'll Be', i don't mind if she doesn't walk around the stage.
Olly: Great performance, loved the "silly dancing". At first i thought Olly was to cocky, he seems to have just the right amount now whereas Danyl just breaks the arrogance barrier. Olly is definately Simon's best.
Lloyd: Was ok until he came off from that long note. I'm still shocked he was bottom two last week though after EggNog had the highest number of votes last year for nearly every single week. I like Lloyd and i'd sooner see him stay over Danyl and Jamie.
Jamie: Didn't like it at all. Don't get the OTTness at the end of all of his performances. It's like he believes he's just given the world something wonderful when really he hasn't. I also think he looks grubby. Was that t-shirt meant to be white?
Lucie: I really liked this but think it's quite degrading that they're making her into this teen pop artist. She could sing the socks of Demi, Miley and the like put together. As much as i do love a bit of *ahem Hilary Duff* Lucie is much better than that!
Danyl: Not a patch on Ruth Lorenzo's version. Fact! Still don't like him, the haircut is crap and i hope he goes.
John & Edward: Yet again, very entertaining! Their best performance after 'Ooops...' imo. I don't know how Louis dare have a pop at Cheryl about the quality of Lloyd though. He put through these two!!
Joe: Excellent! I'd really like to see him win now. Shown consistency since his first audition, not arrogant, not too quiet either. I agree with Dannii, best male vocalist there. Doesn't have any screamy gimmicks, he sings and delivers.

I agree although I'm not surprised he was bottom and I wont be surprised if he goes this week. The EggNog thing is sort of canceled out this year because I think Joe is getting the girls votes.

Just watched the performances on youtube. My order is:
1. Lucie - agree that it isn't a spectacular song and she is able to sing much harder songs but it showcased her range very well and she is also able to combine performance and vocals very well. 2. Joe - didn't like the song but it suited him nicely. He has a nice voice and uses it well. I suppose he is the best male voice in this respect but Danyl and jamie are capable of very good vocals but perhaps push too much at times. 3. Olly - not a fan but he was third best - consistent. 4. Stacey - wobbly at the start but good most of the time. Needs to work on her vocal delivery when moving around. if she tries to dance she would sound awful. 5. Danyl - I must be hearing something different to many others - he can be very good but he often loses the melody and so is out of tune. I think when he does get it right on the big notes it is by accident - possible bottom two? 6. Jamie - not great at the start and agree with the earlier comment that he looks grubby. Possible bottom two? 7. Lloyd - yes he is young blah blah blah, but he is mostly singing in the wrong key. He can deliver notes and has a voice but I don't think he is able to match his voice with the song choices. He would be better acapella- surely bottom two and out, unless jedward lose their support and are vs him. 8. Jedward - horrible performance by a horrible act. They don't come across as nice people at all....though it would be funny if they win and mix it all up. I do think when it comes to the crunch one of the other acts will beat them in a head to head though you never know.
BTW - perhaps stage managed but if not Simon's "sweetheart" putdown of Cheryl shows his superiority complex perfectly. 5.
But overall - I thought it was a poor week. This week was the first week I actually could bear Olly, but like Jedward, it was for the entertainment not for talent. Lloyd was weaker than ever, and Danyl did an almost carbon copy of Purple Rain to Prince, to me (a Prince song that I utterly hate).
I think you've got the bottom 2 just right there. I'd be surprised if it was any other combination.
I'm not sure. I think Lloyd being in the bottom 2 may spur his fans to vote for him. Stacey and Lucie aren't safe by any means, nor is Danyl.
Yes that is a common pattern regarding the bottom 2. If he isn't this week, he will be next week for sure. I'm just really pleased he's going to get to go on tour, it will be a great experience for him and give him more opportunitys to grow as a singer, because I think he's just give up otherwise.

Yeah, shame
I agree I can see him go next week and Jedward the week after that
