I was watching the thoughts and views of Alex Belfield until You Tube barred him and he was forced to open his own secret VOR club. I like him and theres nothing you can do about it Disgusting what he did and quite rightly now in prison I think his ego got the better of him and some of the stuff he said were questionable like mocking Katie Price's disabled son. I thought that was out of order at the time. He's catchphrases were ripped off from Adrian Allen Adrian has made a lot of videos talking about him www.youtube.com/@adrianallenoriginal/videos

Mark Goldbridge ClipsFor the last few years Manchester Utd supporter Mark Goldbridge clips has gained quite a following for their unintentional comedy value amongst non Manchester Utd fans. It has certainly given me many a great few moments of pleasure. Alas, over the last few months it has gone off the boil thanks to his football club actually getting good again and playing some great football. But on Sunday the Manchester Utd circus and recent old & Mark Goldbridge we know and love was back, back, back to the last few post-Fergie years thanks to their glorious record breaking capitulation scoreline:
^ The seven stages of grief
Shock and disbelief - 0:05 Denial - 0:41 Guilt - 1:14 Anger and bargaining - 1:48 Depression - 2:20 Reconstruction - 2:54 Acceptance - 3:22

I wasn't a huge fan of WhatCulture, but their DW and ST tailored WhoCulture and TrekCulture are fun for a fan like me.

Tasting History with Max MillerI just discovered this channel the other day so I have only watched some of his videos, but it combines two of my favourite things - food and history - and is such a joy to watch! Max Miller cooks and tastes historical recipes while explaining a bit about the historical context behind them in a really informative and entertaining way. If you've ever wanted to know what sort of food the pharaoh Tutankhamun might have eaten, how to brew ancient Mesopotamian beer or what first-class breakfast on the Titanic was like, this is the channel for you

Re: The Dyatlov Pass Incident - I'm in the camp that thinks a Katabatic wind caused an avalanche in a relatively flat area of land causing them to rip open the tent and fled for their lives. Temperature, Wind & Pressure readings from Russian bases near by give creedence to this theory.
Because some of the members have only incomplete clothing, the group splits. Two of the group, only in their underwear and pajamas, were found at the Siberian pine tree, near a fire pit. Their bodies were found first and confirmed to have died from hypothermia.
Three hikers, including Dyatlov, attempted to climb back to the tent, possibly to get sleeping bags. They had better clothes than those at the fire pit, but still quite light and with inadequate footwear. Their bodies were found at various distances 300–600 m from the campfire, in poses suggesting that they had fallen exhausted while trying to climb in deep snow in extremely cold weather.
The remaining four, equipped with warm clothing and footwear, were trying to find or build a better camping place in the forest further down the slope. Their bodies were found 70 m from the fireplace, under several meters of snow and with traumas indicating that they had fallen into a snow hole formed above a stream. These bodies were found only after two months.
I love Unexplained Mysteries, but with the vast majority I regard them as either fanciful & bogus; or the most popular consensus is the correct one. Example: Princess Diana killed not by a Prince Phillip / MI6 conspiracy, but by a drunk driver, off shift asked to drive a motor he did not normally drive, on a road with a high level of accidents going too fast to flee Paparazzi cars chasing it; and Princess Diana would have almost certainly lived had she been wearing a seatbelt.
I can think of two 20th Century mysteries where I go against the flow: 1. Aviatrix Amelia Earhart's disappearance: The most popular theory is the Crash-and-Sink theory running out of petrol failing to find Hovland Island; I'm in the camp who believes she (semi-crash)-landed on a nearby deserted Gardner (Nikumaroro) Island before perishing a few days later; 2. I believe George Mallory & climbing partner Andrew Irvine most likely reached the summit of Mount Everest late in the afternoon of 8th June 1924; but fell & perished in the early hours of the following morning about 30-45 minutes away from their high camp.

Didn't they find the body of a woman they now believe to be Amilia Earhart on that Island, it was inhabited by giant scavanger crabs so they probably finished her off if she had bad injuries 🤔 they even found a plane wreckage I think. Yeah so far they are pretty short videos, just a taster really, I'm working on getting them upto 5 minutes I'm just playing with AI at the moment to see what I can come up with All of the art including thumbnails is AI Generated except for 2 photos in the Flatwoods Monster video, the scripts are written by chat gpt for the most part too, oh and ofcourse there is the text to speech AI. I'm fascinated to see how far I can push the technology and if they get picked up by the YouTube algorithm at all

If you watch this video, I subscribe to theory two:
Especially if valid it has a certain synchronicity about the Brits in 1940 screwing up potentially definitive evidence of a Yankee post WW1/pre WW2 icon; the same way the Yanks in 1999 screwed up potentially definitive evidence of a British Post WW1/pre WW2 icon 27,000+ feet up Mount Everest:

Anyone ever watch vinyl (and cd/cassette and other formats) videos on youtube? Been going for over a decade now. Where music enthusiasts show off their collections and vinyl/cd/cassette finds. Here's one video starting off a thread showing 13 Greatest Hits albums.

One for Razzle Dazzle I think Well I NeverDiscovered this channel the other day. Lots of long-form videos, mostly true crime which isn't for everyone (including me much of the time) but a lot of 'weird stories from history' content as well. I've found I quite enjoy having them on in the background while working. With spooky season around the corner, I'm getting into my annual ghost story mood - which usually lasts up until I read or watch something that stops me sleeping - and this video on ghost ships has been a good appetiser.
