I really liked the Marvin Gaye track especially after the awful album one.

law of averages if youve been in the sing off once you are less likely to survive Not the law of averages, just the fact you may have used your biggest song to get through the first sing-off. Or that your act isn't that popular.

Thanks Earl Purple for a smooth and efficient reveal. Good luck to the mentors in the sing-off (unless one of you is me, in which case may the best songs win!)

Just catching up now. I started watching a film and forgot about the time. A bit of a surprise to see Marvin &The Jam in the sing off, but the competition was really fierce in this round.

3 of my bottom 4 in the sing-off, just Curve a surprise to me. Ditto, but SFA for me. Real mis-step by the Jam this round, but they should have enough songs to be safe in the sing off?

Just realised that we're only just over halfway and only 3 acts remaining have now never been in a sing-off...

I'm not surprised by this result:-
(a) because every mentor entered a strong song, so anybody could have ended up in the sing-off;
(b) because there has been some strange voting already in HF12, so anybody could have ended up in the sing-off; and
(c) because every act that has got this far has at least medium level popularity amongst HF voters, so anybody could have ended up in the sing-off.
