In the 90's I bought loads of singles. Then I stopped at the beginning of the 00's, about the same time that pop went down the toilet. Recently though, I have been buying single songs again - but downloaded rather than physicals. I'm not going to spend £3 on something when I can get it for 79p.

I still buy singles. I prefer the single toi the download.
In fact, I would prefer the vinyl 12" single

Only for my two favourite artists. Download now instead or buy the album. Albums are so cheap nowadays.

Haven't bought a physical single for 2 years and hardly ever download anymore either. Downloaded loads last year but haven't for about 6 months now.

I'm still very old fashioned and have hardly ever downloaded. That said, I don't buy many singles - last ones I bought were Mesh29 and Feist. If I like a song I tend to watch it on youtube for nothing. I would have to really like the song to buy another single and even then if I was passing a record store.

I havent bought a physical single for 2-3 years think it was the debut Editors single as I had to order it. Now I download around 20 tracks a week from Napster and buy 2-3 albums a week. Ten years ago I probably spend £50 a week on singles & albums now its closer to £20 and I buy more than ever
