Use this thread to natter about the clubs in the nationwide, be it Mansfield, Notts County, Oldham, Coventry or even Bradford City;) Thoughts, fears, predictions. I fear that Mansfield will miss out on automatic promotion, fail miserably in the playoffs and then lose half our out of contract team in the summer:( Then prolly get relegated:( Who said always look on the bright side of life:(

They spent too much when they were in the Prem and are suffering again. Sheff Weds look in dire straits as well I reckon.

Wimbledon are the ones that are really stuffed... sixteen points from safety - they must still be pretty broke too?

Then there's also Forest in danger of being evicted from the City Ground!

It all went wrong for Wimbledon when they decided they want to move to a bigger fanbase at Milton Keynes and that just hasn't happened, they could go all the way back down to the basement league I reckon? Forest, well they overspend as well, like to see em relegated, just so we could all be in the 2nd div, if Stags get promoted?

I follow one team from each division, every season. Always Arsénal in the premiership, natch, but after that... Brighton (nearest league club) Shrewsbury (place of birth) Coventry (was dad's team) Oxford (city where i will hopefully live soon) [ergo: if brighton and coventry are in the same division, as in 02/03, i follow brighton] So extended to the conference this season as the Shrews went down Arsénal (Prem, currently 1st) Coventry (Div1, 14th) Brighton (Div2, 5th) Oxford (Div3, 3rd) Shrewsbury (Conf, 5th) As far as the lower-league teams are concerned, it's looking like there'll be a chance of promotion for three of my four teams. Coventry had been slowly rising from about 19th, but they've stopped progressing up the table and stayed in 14th/15th recently. Mid-table security this season. Brighton have been crap away from home, which could push them out of the top 6. Predicted them to finish 7th, but I hope they can hold on to a play-off place at least. Oxford have also been doing badly away recently, but still will be at least in the play-offs. Shrewsbury currently have games in hand so could rise to 3rd by winning them. Miles away from Chester in 1st, though. Do you lot follow teams other than your "first" team?

Apart from Notts, I kind of follow Norwich as they used to be the closest team to where I lived (roughly!!) and Sheffield Utd coz thats where I went to Uni.
When Notts and Shrewsbury were in the same division I always enjoyed a trip to Shrewbury, so would be good to see them back in the league again. Guess they could always go up via the Conference play-offs.

Nationwide? Bleh... But I guess I do keep an eye out for the London teams, especially Brentford (nearest league team) and QPR.

I expect a match report on saturday night/sunday!!! I'd say a draw.

A draw won't do!! Nothing short of a win is acceptable if we're to avoid the drop. I'll give you my opinion Sunday or Monday.
Sunday night sees our 5aside team receive our trophy for achieving promotion. I can look forward to that regardless of Notts' performance ;D
