sofie... the spl is quite possibly the most boring league in the world. very few teams, and rangers and celtic invariably win... this year, celtic have been virtually guaranteed it for ages. And you have just described the PL.

mankfester ush!ted always finish in the top 3 because they tend to be one of the 3 best teams... you get a very similar story in the top leagues of most countries. they certainly don't always win, and as glenn said there are always lots of other interesting battles going on...

the english premier league is one of the most exciting leagues in the world, if not THE most exciting... and you ALWAYS get some teams dominating in national leagues. real madrid always get to the quarter finals of the champions league - does that make that competition boring?

The SPL is absolutely DIRE, it's a mickey mouse league really. Why else do you think Celtic and Rangers are so keep to join the Premiership? The Premier League is on a par with La Liga as the most exciting league in Europe. So, you've got the same old teams at the top...look around you, it's the same in practically every major league in Europe. For thrills and spills there's few better than the Premiership.

Out of interest does anyone know the last time a team other than Celtic or Rangers won the Scottish Premier, and who was it?

Out of interest does anyone know the last time a team other than Celtic or Rangers won the Scottish Premier, and who was it? Just a little, but David Beckham likes to wander, allegedly... Aberdeen in 1984 and 1985, before that Dundee United in 1983, since 85, so 19 years it has been Celtic and Rangers alone...
