This league has finished for the season hasn't it? And if so, why is it shorter than the PL season?

the league's not yet finished officially, no, but celtic have won the title. the spl finishes before the prem ends, i know that much... and there are much fewer teams in the spl - only 12 as opposed to 20.

well, because they're ahead by so much, it is now mathematically impossible for rangers to catch them up, even if they lose their remaining matches and rangers win theirs. so they win.

Oh, and info for Sofie:
The scottish league runs to 38 games. The 12 clubs play each other 3 times each (3x11 = 33 games), then the league splits in two. the top six play each other once more, as do the bottom six, so five more games each for a 38 game season.

Good old Celtic! As they're my second favourite UK team - and the fact I'm a Catholic has NOTHING to do with this - it's good to see them put one over the Proddies aka Rangers

i'm pretty neutral as far as scotland goes... though i am a catholic in theory, so i favour celtic. oh, and my future brother-in-law supports them, and i don't want to get lynched
