Relegation is BAD But won't they have a chance of promotion at the end of the season if they do well enough?

But won't they have a chance of promotion at the end of the season if they do well enough? Well YES, that is stating the OBVIOUS! BUT Leeds will lose Viduka, Robinson and Smith to start with, so not sure who will score the goals for em next season, or keep em out. Plus other high earners will be sold to cut the wage bill, meaning it will be up to the youngsters and the players they bring in in the summer. I cant see them bouncing straight back at all, might make the playoffs if they are lucky?

I was talking to my sister on the phone yesterday & that's exactly what i told her...I can't believe such a team is relegated! We can forget about any possible promotion next year as most of the key players are leaving the club

Could Man U move for Smithy you think? There will be an announcement soon as to which players are likely to be leaving Leeds, all the high wage earners I guess, whoever they are? Viduka is going to Boro apparently?

I think if Leeds sort themselves out quickly they may have a chance of bouncing straight back next season. Everyone said West Ham would be in trouble when they went down, they've lost a lot of players, made some decent purchases and now look quite likely to be in the play-offs. I know Leeds' financial situation is worse but players like McPheal could show their quality next season and this could make the difference!

Yesterday's report gave a view on who was staying or going... I think McPhail, Milner and one other who slips my mind were the only ones staying... I think that as long as they keep Milner and sort their defence out, they have a good chance of reaching the playoffs next season. As for west ham, my money's on them to get promoted via the playoffs.
