Yeah, not too many surprises there :(Andy White was never given a chance, and if Crewe a 1st div side have got him, it tells you he has potential I think? Christie was a GOD 2 seasons ago, scoring 20 as he tried to keep us in the 2nd div, but this season he has been not so good, which is strange, but that is Mr Christie for you, you never know if he will score a hattrick, or fall over and get sent off. Glad to see Vaughan gone, overpaid and slow, Jaffo was only temporary and rest are young and not made the grade. Thing is 13 others have been offered contracts, Liam Lawrence wont accept, could be going to Sunderland, I just hope the rest accept the contracts or we are in POO CITY! I'm sure Robin will update us on Counteh Stuff... I see Billy Dearden of Counteh and Stags fame has gone to be assitant to Colin Hendry at Blackpool!

I'm delighted that Notts have cleared out Hackworth, he was one of the most over payed but completely ineffective players in the team (and that's saying something!) We'll be starting next season with pretty much a new team, as nine first team players were released at the end of the season!

But will the team have improved? Who knows, Gary Mills, our manager, has got a lot to do to prove to me he's the right man for the job. He talks a lot but i'm yet to see any positive results. I'll give him till January to make a difference else i'll be on his back

not looking good for a promotion push the chairman should be splashing the cash! Nah, he never does that, think the only player we spent money on was Colin Larkin from wolves, rumoured to be 150k, more likely 60k, as Haslam loves to lie, allegedly;)

*repaints the BMW and drives it into his mansion* Then he wonders why we all chant "Stand up if you hate Keith Haslam, stand up if you hate Keith Haslam!" And 5000 (4500 by Haslam's accounting methods) stand up!

I was misinformed. The fixtures are out next Thursday! aww BUGGER! I hear Liam Lawrence has tuirned down the chance to go to Crewe, and might be going to Sunderland or Cardiff. At least we will get a fee, cant believe we got no fee for Bobby Hassell and he's gone to Barnsley Still only got 4 players and one of those has been told he can leave, despite being our only left winger, we currently have no right back or right winger either. We have one goalie, yeah, our Captain, a young centre half who Preston and Portsmouth have been after and a striker we signed from Wolves, bit injury prone, but shithot when fully fit. Spoilt for choice really

We have 5!! players now as our excellent left back has signed a one year contract! One bloody year!
This is interesting though...
Daily Mail
Leeds are poised to replace Viduka with 22-year-old Liam Lawrence, whose 22 goals from midfield took Mansfield to the Third Division Play-off Final. They targeted him after being outbid on wages by Wigan for Torquay striker David Graham. ------------- Yorkshire Post
LEEDS UNITED manager Kevin Blackwell is ready to add Mansfield winger Liam Lawrence to his re-structured squad after missing out on the signing of Torquay striker David Graham. A busy summer of transfer activity is already well underway at Elland Road with the over-paid old guard, relegated from the Premiership last term, replaced with bargain-basement alternatives.
Blackwell already has a number of players lined up but knows he must balance his ambition with the club's dire financial position. Wages will be freed up once Michael Duberry, Mark Viduka and Dominic Matteo leave but, until they depart, it is unclear whether the manager can add to the four he has already signed.
Lawrence, who missed a penalty in the Division Three play-off final against Huddersfield, is out of contract and recently rejected the chance to join Crewe.
The 22-year-old is reportedly a target for Sunderland and was once wanted by Rotherham manager Ronnie Moore and Neil Warnock of Sheffield United.Wigan, however, dashed Blackwell's hopes of signing prolific striker Graham. The Latics had an initial £200,000 bid for the 25-year-old Scot rejected, but landed their man by tabling an improved sum of £215,000, beating off interest from Leeds.
