Yeah, I remember you playiong Chelsea, only lost 2/3-0 didn't you? They gave you signed shirts and stuff as well didn't they? We lost 4-2 and it was an entertaining game from what I saw. Hasslebaink scored a great goal for Chelsea. At one point I looked at going to the game, but taking into account coach travel and the match, it would have been around £70!!

Personally I think they should be kicked out, they'd take it seriously if they went out 3rd round of the FA Cup and were 10th in the league!

I'm still not convinced we'll even evade extinction. Douglas Craig deserves to be shot for what he's done to this club. (And it's legal to do so, provided it's with a cross-bow and within the city walls, as he's Scottish. Hey, don't look at me like that, it's still one of York's by-laws, go check it out! ) Forgive me for asking, but how come you're a Mansfield fan if you're from Yorkshire? Or have you moved here?

Born and bred in Mansfield and Retford, so always followed the Stags. Was very sorry to see that tw*t running your club into the ground, we have a dodgy chairman like that as well. How the football league lets him get away with it is criminal. Have you still got debts? Surely administration is the way fortward get rid of him and the supporters take over? Council wont let you go to the wall surely?

About a year ago the fans set up a Trust and now we own the club. But how long it lasts is debatable. The Council don't care. They gave planning permission to Persimmons when Craig sold the ground to them. Asset-stripping, anyone?

what happened at York ? Douglas Craig (the Chairman at the time) transferred ownership of the ground from the club to his own company "in the best interests of the club". He then later decided to sell the club. But that of course meant that the new owners did not own the ground. Then he tried to sell the ground back to the new owners (the Fans) at a personal profit of about £3m, which of course, we can't afford. He's since decided to let the club use the ground for "the forseeable future" but no one really knows the full details. It's all a big mess.
