should be interesting next season when West Brom play Wigan - two ex-Bradford City managers.

Is this a record for the smallest number of points for a surviving team?.
Bradford stayed up with about 36 in the 1999/2000 season!.

Haha! That was brilliant! ;D Mind you I didn't really want West Brom to stay up. I'd much rather Palace had got it or Norwich come to that. I'm glad Southampton went down though...twenty seven years in the top flight and they've never done anything remotely interesting. Plus Rupert Lowe is a tosser.

Is this a record for the smallest number of points for a surviving team?. Bradford stayed up with about 36 in the 1999/2000 season!. It's the lowest since the times of 2pts for a win - you'd have to go back to 1979, which is a year with a lot of strange coincidences: > It was when Liverpool set the goals-conceded record (16) which has just been beaten by Chelsea. > Chelsea finished bottom that year with 20 points > Everton finished 4th > Norwich failed to win an away game all season, just like this year... but they survived, finishing in 16th out of 22. And of course the FA Cup final that year was Arsenal against Man United.
