lol, I assume it's the 2 guys at Forest, McGovern and someone else who have turned it round, imagine if you make the playoffs and get promoted Mark, and yet a few months ago, you couldn't win for toffee and did you get tanked 7-1? Amazing! Megson spent the money, the players should be doing it really.

Yeah Frank Barlow and Ian McParland.
It really does show how awful Megson was. They've been in charge for 9 games and we've won 7 and drawn 2. Won all of the last five games too. With 8 games left we were 9 points off the play-offs and I thought we might have a very small chance of sneaking in there. Now with 4 games left the table looks like this;
1 Southend 42 29 77 2 Brentford 42 18 70 3 Colchester 42 14 69 4 Huddersfield 42 13 69 5 Swansea 42 21 66 6 Barnsley 42 17 66 7 Nottm Forest 42 15 64 8 Oldham 42 0 63 9 Bristol City 42 1 58 10 Doncaster 42 -1 57 11 Bradford 42 2 56 12 Gillingham 42 -13 56 13 Scunthorpe 42 -5 55 14 Port Vale 42 -6 55 15 Chesterfield 42 -4 53 16 Bournemouth 42 -3 52 17 Tranmere 42 3 51 18 Blackpool 42 -7 50 19 Yeovil 42 -9 49 20 Rotherham 42 -10 47 21 Hartlepool 42 -15 45 22 Walsall 42 -20 44 23 Swindon 42 -18 43 24 Milton Keynes Dons 42 -22 43
Last weekend us and Southend were the only teams in the top 8 to win, this weekend only us and Barnsley won. We've got a pretty easy last 4 games too against Ywovil, Hartlepool, Bournemouth and Bradford whilst Swansea and Barnsley have still both got to play Southend so I hope they can beat them both. I'm actually going to the Yeovil game on monday - they're expecting a full house which is something I never thought would happen this season...

Best of luck to you, i've been following Forest up the league for a good few weeks as they've reigned the teams above in (none of which appear to be on any sort of form, do they even want to go up??). It's ridiculous for any team that gets the crowds you do to be playing the likes of Yeovil and Port Vale!!

You've got a great chance now... especially considering that the form team going into the playoffs often goes up

Forest deserve a bit of luck Why? They've been badly managed at pitch and boardroom level, spent beyond their means, etc, etc, why do they deserve any luck?

Fantastic game..I've always said that one thing that should be banned from football is taking free-kicks quickly - I hate it. I'm glad we came back from it though and I hope they go down! It's in our hands now... we have to beat Hartlepool next week, 2nd from bottom should be easy but you never know. Grant Holt looks an amazing player - pity he hasn't scored many but I thought he was easily the best player.

The attendance league makes for interesting reading. Colchester last and the second worst capacity in the league, and they're in the promo lots!

How are Swansea exceeding their capacity? 11000 capacity and averaging 13000, not bad really And colchester average out at a better % than a fair few teams, so good on em, I like to see the smaller teams doing better sometimes. Crewe, Brighton and Milwall are not going to bring big gates either!

forest do deserve to go up i think At the end of the day, it's about points on the board, I remember when the Stags were relegated from this league a few years ago, most managers we played, said we played great attacking attractive football, and we didn't deserve to go down, we did, because we didn't get enough points, but hey we gave people some bloody cracking games in the process!

Crewe, Brighton and Milwall are not going to bring big gates either! That's Swansea's old stadium. They now have a new stadium imaginatively titled "The New Stadium" ( ) which holds well over 20,000 so I guess it just hasn't been updated on there...
