are there any other fellow sunderland supporters out there??
i understand if you're reluctant to come forward right now
we need something to turn the tide for us and get us that 1st point. thought we might get a point today but yet again we didn't seem to play for the full 90mins. it's not looking very promising for us, hopefully it will turn round soon

Didnt realise you were a Sunderland fan hupin. I predicted Sunderland to go straight back up and finish in the Top 2, think I can safely say that wont happen now But I still can't believe theyve started this badly

im not surprised, they were spanked every week in the premiership and have a weaker team now without Arca, Kelvin Davies, Gary Breen, George McCartney, Hoyte, Le Tallac, Basilla etc

I wonder if Niall Quinn will sack himself if this bad run continues?! He's both the Chairman and manager...

Was thinking the same myself, his coments after the game at the weekend suggested that it was tougher than even he thought with the current crop of players.

and now theres less chance of getting a top manager, who will touch them now!!!
i mean if they got a manager in straight away he would have a month to bring in players but now they are stuck with what they have

Didn't they start badly last time they were in the second tier, though?

Yea it was their 2nd season, their home form wasnt that bad at the start though, it was their away form that let them down early on. I saw us play them in the first month, and I said before the game that if we scored first we'd win 1-0 and I was spot on!
