I'd like to think that Mardle and Lewis could make it hard work for their respective opponents, but I do agree with your predictions as to the winners. I reckon Wade will make it to the final, at least.

I think he's been in decline for some time unfortunately. He's not half the player he used to be. Awesome performance from Jenks though, perhaps the best showing from any player in the league so far.

Wade won 8-4, and Lewis won 8-6. Brilliant performance again from Terry. He's facing John Part next week so he has the chance to defeat the last three world champions in straight weeks. John had better be at his classy best or else Terry could very well murder him.

Can't argue with that. He is definitely the man in form right now.

Well, I met the legend that is Phil 'The Power' Taylor on the darts meet yesterday in the Roebuck in Stoke-on-Trent, and played 3 legs against him, and guess what? I lost all 3 of em. Got royally whooped. I didn't play particularly well but I would've probably lost anyway, even with one of my better performances. Then the members of the two forums that were on the meet had a best-of-3-leg knockout tournament. I lost my first (and only) match 2-1 but I felt so good about the way I played. I even said at the time that it was the best I'd ever played in my life, so I wasn't disappointed. It was my first time playing in front of such a crowd of people, and I loved it. Can't wait to do it again.

He was really down to earth. I wasn't overawed by his presence at all, it was like being with a mate.
