good that you are listening!
I'll be shutting down briefly tonight a bit while I make the release list and download some of them. They will then be added to the playlist. Tomorrow when I go out and buy the remaining singles (plus some of the ones I've downloaded if I like them and they're not rip-offs) I'll complete the playlist.
During that period it's generally "anything goes" regarding what gets played. Boy-bands, rap, even Cliff Richard if he has a single out...

Usually on Tuesday I add in the singles I have bought on Monday and include 3 weeks of all previous new releases in addition to the songs on the chart.
I was planning to do more specialist shows - I have done the Fools special on 1 April and the 2001 special. I also did a request show.

yes I think I did once put on anything that was on my computer, which included some karaoke versions of songs I'd made and some Jewish folk songs.

I took the radio station down yesterday for downloading and haven't put it back up yet. After I rip all the CDs I bought (that was 14 today) then I will put the radio station back up again.
I haven't yet decided what direction the chart will take when legal downloads start becoming the main. My hope is that it won't make any difference, though I guess I'll be a bit "flooded" with new releases as it will be so much cheaper to release and thus there'll be loads more available each week. From that it will be very very hard to make a chart.

Strange - when you used to take the chart down, it wouldn't even let me connect, but earlier, it let me connect for 15 seconds I haven't yet decided what direction the chart will take when legal downloads start becoming the main. the new chart is broadcasting on Radio Earl Purple. "Talk Shows On Mute " by Incubus is #60. I don't have the chart at hand.
