Why has the duet been cancelled, had surefire top 3 hit all over it!

It was voted the 2nd worst single of all time behind the Cheeky Girls according to a top 100 Channel 4 thing.
Personally, I didn't mind it that much. Guess the religious message annoyed some people.

I have to admit that it would not be among my favourite Cliff records.
When I first heard the idea muted I thought Cliff had finally cracked but it actually turned out to be an ingenious idea.

Why has the duet been cancelled, had surefire top 3 hit all over it! Despite what some have tried to promote, it never was scheduled as a single. The Cool Clarity organiser of the Hate Chart used bogus information (and would not listen to me) to get it available for inclusion. It is a track off G4's forthcoming album. Before it could be issued as a single the CRO would have to be approached for licensing rights. This was never done and was constantly stated by them. Some chose to ignore this for their own purposes. There are a lot of other duets on the album which probably have more street cred so maybe they'll go for one of those.

Indeed, they are going for a duet with Johnny Mathis - When A Child Is Born

Capital Gold Christmas Knock Out to choose the favourite Christmas single of all time won by CLIFF RICHARD with Mistletoe and Wine beating such songs as Slade and Wham.
Well done, Cliff.

And if they do some advertising around Mothers Day it should push the actual cross-counter sales over 100k.
Currently at around 92k.
