THREE million sellers in the top 10!
Great chart apart from the number two...

and I can remember listening to this chart on Radio 1 on the Tuesday afternoon, waiting to see if "Two Tribes" could make it 10 weeks in a row at #1. As you can see, it didn't...

There were two good chart runs in the top 10, Relax (on its TENTH month in the chart) and White Lines by Grandmaster Flash and Melle Mel, on its 8 month on the chart!
"White Lines"s chart run is probably the best chart run of any record in the past 20 years or so:
85-60-63-75-OUT-93-93-77-84-74-59-52-53-52-49-57-55-56-58-55-52-56-52-48-51-52-46-36-21-12-10- 9-8-7-7-10-9-10-13-18-20-23-31-39-41-52-55-xx-xx-77-75-77-99-88-96-83-73-OUT-83-85

When Relax climbed back to #2, it was kept off the top by "Two Tribes"...

So, which of these do you remember?, and what did you think of them?.
Fact: the #45 reached #44 and went on to sell 40.000 copies, it missed out on a TOTP place by one position when in those days they used to play one track below the top 40. These days we have top 20's and top 10's that sell that amount, wonder where it was in the sales of the year list?.
