* PM's* I love it. But it almost crosses that Eurovision line though, but it certainly made me smile. Now I have this strong urge to go and listen to "Bring Me Edelweiss".

Glad you like it .I do too. It's so bad,it's good.A pity that Kerry didn't go further in X Factor - maybe if she did better, that old track would have rereleased ? Oh someone needs to cover it - Spice Girls , Scooch,or Bananarama. The chart needs more yodelling !
Anyhoo back to SAW/PWL.....
Was Mandy (Smith) lack of Uk chart success down to her wild child image,or that she just couldn't sing ?

I she irratated a lot of people with her blantant money grabbing wedding to an old man. I'm guessing it would be like Heather Mills released a record I guess! But yes, I guess her lack of talent didn't help matters either. I must admit she is not one of my favourite SAW artists. I never really got round to buying Mandy, even for SAW completeness sake. The only I could possibly say that I can listen to and enjoy is I Just Can't Wait, and even that one makes me wince a little. I wonder what she's up to nowadays?

I only heard We should be dancing for the first time a couple of months ago, and i have to admit i love it!Much, much better than i'd alwys imagined it to be.Vocally she's no Donna Summer or Hazell Dean but way better than the two i've meantioned above!Wasn't keen on the Steve Walsh track either.

I thought the Who's That Girl soundtrack was not all that bad (apart from Look Of Love ) It's been YEARS since I've seen that film. Does anyone remember the SAW At The Royal Albert Hall video/programme/(don't know whether it's on) DVD?

I would've bought that video when it came out, but being in SA and in school meant it was impossible.I really envied the kids in the UK for being able to buy their favourate songs as soon as it got released. It normally, if SA record companies decided to release it locally, could take up to 3 months after a UK release!

I'd have thought the worst is the Reynolds Girls "I'd rather jack" with it's embarrasingly dated lyrics "we'd rather sing along with Yazz" - oh dear!

I loved her song Have Mercy though it should've been huge, only got to 42 or something.I like The Reynold Girls song though esp. the production on the 12".

I forgot why I asked the the SAW video question now. I think it was going to be something about Jonnie O, but I can't remember now. I was going to dig it out and watch, till I realised that I parted company with my VCR last year I'd have thought the worst is the Reynolds Girls "I'd rather jack" with it's embarrasingly dated lyrics "we'd rather sing along with Yazz" - oh dear! There are much worse in comparison. Whilst I love PWL/SAW, there are ones that should NEVER see the light of day again (i.e. The Fat Slags - Summer Holiday).

I'm glad i've never heard The Fat Slags, the name says it all. Oh its horrendous. I never want to hear it again. (But now I want to hear it again just out of curiosity about how bad I remember it actually was) Thanks to that record, and some of the awful records they resorted to producing towards the end of the SAW time, has made me oh so sceptical about them choosing The Sheilas as their comeback single artist.

Did you hear the latest? The whole SAW comeback is without the Aitken bit (at least for now anyway), maybe he was the force behind their GREAT songs, and no that does not include the Mandy singles. So basically a SW comeback if it makes sense.

Don't really know, seems like he was never part of the whole Squeelas thing to start with according to some sources on the Hitfactory Forum.
