This sounds so wrong but no film has ever made me cry. I don't tend to watch the soppy stuff.

How was the work meal that you weren't looking forward to ?
The relative you're visiting, challenges you to a game of doubles tennis. You get to choose your partner first - do you go for Barbara Windsor or Su Pollard ?

As for the tennis, think i'll go for Barbara Windsor. No idea how good she would be but think it would be a laugh.

I made posts in the Football Thread all about that and whether I was going to go or not - think it's on page 22. My subsequent posts in the predicta thread and in here should hopefully make it obvious
My overriding emotion right now is sadness, both at the Federici mistake that lost the game and also that I expect it will be the last time I've seen some of those players play for Reading. Chalobah for one definitely won't be playing in the Championship next season. As I said elsewhere, recorded the game and will definitely watch, apparently one offside decision against us 1st half was wrong, and I want to see how good Federici's 2nd half save was in normal time. More interested to see how individual players played though. The geek in me thinks about player ratings during the game, especially when i'm nervous like I was in the first half, but I stopped doing that at half-time. Hector, Chalobah, and Fed prior to his mistake seemed to be the star players though. Particularly excited about Hector's future, only a year left on his contract so hopefully we can tie him down to a new one. Being an ex defender he's learning from the perfect manager in Steve Clarke.
Immense atmosphere in the pub beforehand, been to The Torch many times before and it's never been remotely as busy or as loud as it was yesterday, and was only in there half an hour before making our way to the stadium (blame the public rail service and their engineering works for that, but that's another story), felt surprisingly warm in the sunshine too in contrast to Kent! Immense atmosphere in the stadium too, before kickoff and during the game even at 2-1 when personally I was deflated. As you may have noticed on the TV coverage there were tshirts on all the seats in our end, nice touch.
What did you make of it, and Razzle Dazzle too?

Sadly I never got round to watching the game. Caught the chelsea v man u game then had company. Sounds like reading played really well though. I always liked Steve Clarke when he was assistant at West Ham under Zola. Had us well drilled, I'm surprised it hasn't gone so well in the league for Reading, with a few players running out of contract it could be a make or break summer
