It's not that I don't want to, believe me! Just that nobody ever seems to come anywhere close to here. The last gig I went to was the Sugababes in Cardiff in 2003, when I was living in Swansea, I hasten to add. I somehow doubt they're up your alley, though!

as far a pop goes you can do much worse (I don't mind pop by musicians that make their own music and have some talent) i think i remember catching some of their gig at glastonbury one year. It WAS glasto... i don't remember much sometimes of it...haha

OK, is track 8 supposed to end that abruptly or is it just my cd? Yeah, it really does, doesn't it? I was a bit taken aback on first listen! Incidentally, the album I got came in a boring CD case... I did notice there was a limited edition version, though I didn't fancy paying the extra four quid... Anyway, I got the album Wednesday. I was a bit unsure on first listen but I think i'm starting to love it now. Intervention and No Cars Go are especially brilliant...

Grr, beaten by the fecking Kaisers' and debuts at #2. Fantastic album though- only listened to it a few times so far but my favourites are "No Cars Go", "Ocean of Noise", "Keep The Car Running", "(Antichrist Television Blues)", "The Well and the Lighthouse", and "Intervention". Apart from the title track which falls a little below par IMO, the album is quality throughout just like it's predecessor. Very impressed.

was at gig last night - and was VERY good. Not great tho I must admit. 8/10 if I had to rate it. Not the 10/10 - best live gig ever that I gave them 2 years ago I'm sad to say. Can't really put my finger on why, but it is a big venue and with that kind of popularity you get a lot of people that are just there for a night out... They played mostly Neon Bible Tracks with 4-5 off of Funeral as well - all the ones you'd expect. Seeing them again Sat and will report back on that too

i'm loving this album. i think we may have one of the candidates for album of the year here. it even reminds me of muse in places [which is a great thing btw] i would love to see arcade fire live, but haven't had a chance yet one day tho!

MUCH better gig last night. first off electrelane were awesome. Have tix to see them headline in a month and looks like they will be at ATP so tis a good thing.
AF played a much better set-list last night. ended on a high-note rather than a whimper that they did on wed. Gig of the year so far!

Album is very very good Highlights for me so far are Intervention, Windowsill, No Cars Go and (Antichrist Television Blues), and The Well and the Lighthouse. Time will tell if it exceeds Funeral.

It's absolutely awesome - a real grower. I feel so passionately about the Arcade Fire now (I saw them live a few weeks ago).
They are the best band out at the moment.
