Decent tune, but anybody see them on Jools recently? Embarrassingly bad live act on that evidence, terrible out of tune 'singing'. If you sound bad on Later with it's brilliant sound mix, then summat is seriously amiss. Even that singer in Hard Fi sounded like he could sing on Later, for chrissakes. Yea I completely agree. Was quite keen to see what they were like live as they are playing at the Wireless Festival on the Sunday when Im going, but on that evidence I'll be giving them a very wide berth. Its all hypocritical really, me and some friends are only really going to see the Kaizers at the Wireless anyway. Thankfully as the Pigeon Detectives were playing at the same time didnt have to see them on the main stage but my mates who did see them (despite warning them they were sh*t) thought they were even worse than even I was expecting! By far the worst band they saw on the day. Incidentally the review of my day at the Wireless coming later in the week hopefully.

Never really been bothered about the Cribs but the two singles from this album have been good. I'll buy it when it's reduced.
As for live - saw them at Glasto, they were alright

Hmmm *strokes chin*
I think a purchase may be in order then. Although the interview in NME this week makes them sound like a right bunch of tossers

Yeah, their attitude leaves a lot to be desired but this new album is BRILLIANT. Perfect indie pop - one of my favourites of the year. And were they really that bad on Later/Wireless? I saw them at the Gloucester Guildhall last month and thought it was a brilliant gig! Different vibe at a gig to watching someone on TV, I suppose?
