What happened to your nephew, if you don't mind me asking? Sounds sad.

Well my sister was pregnant and everything was grand, she went for her 20 week scan and was told everything was fine, but they had another scan the week after because there was some problems with my other nephew when he was born (now he's severley disabled) so they had this extra one just to make sure everything was in working order, and was told then that the baby had an underdevleoped heart, cysts on its brain, a club foot and cleft palette (sp) so she had to get an amnio, which was risky enough as it can bring on a miscarriage. So the results came back and found out the baby had Edwards Syndrome, which is a chromosomal defect. Apparently it's a 1 in 2 or 3 thousand chance, so it had to be my sister. In most cases the baby is dead at birth or dies shortly after being born. So my sister and her hubby had a lot to think about, they have Daniel already who was left severly disabled after he was born and they have Emily a 3 year old "normal" child. So in the end they decided it wasn't fair on the other 2 kids to neglect them while they spent a lot of time in the hospital with the baby as it would need heart and brain surgery. I honestly don't think they would have coped with another disabled child in the house, Daniel is a lot of work and with a toddler running around, and with the chances so slim of it actually surviving they didn't think it would be fair to the baby either. So they went into the hospital that week and they gave birth to a stillborn baby boy, who they called Kyle. Then just the close family had a memorial service for him. It was a terrible time for everyone, the whole family just hung out at my sisters crying for a few days. Oh dear i am crying now! Kyle is buried in the graveyard next to my new flat, so at least i can see him when i want.

Sorry, I didn't want to upset you. What an unfortunate story. One of my friends just had a baby, and it's always there in the back of your mind that something could go wrong. It was a relief when it was finally born.
Is there a history of genetic disorders in either families?

Nope non at all, as i said it was by chance. a 1 on 2 or 3 million or something chance. I just wish it hadn't been my sister she's been through a lot with Daniel, Emily and she had a miscarriage before Kyle. Needless to say shes given up on having another baby as god just isn't on her side when it comes to her having babies!

I tend not to buy music these days, i just download songs as i hear them that i like. I think the last CD i was given was Kylie X, which is pretty good. Britneys Blackout album which is brilliant and my flatmate has Duffy's album, it's quite good too. Otherwise i have't listened to any albums, as i say i'm more a go by how good the song is one at a time kinda thing.

The best is Wheatus, it was the best night ever!! It was just all hot and sweaty and the lead singer Brendan Brown threw his bottle of water out into the crowd at the end, and it hit me on the head. Was just such a laugh! I am hoping Kylie will take over as top concert when i see her in a couple of weeks

Yay, I'm looking forward to Kylie too! What's was in the last picture that you took on your mobile? And have you had any e-Bay purchase interests from someone from Nigeria recently?

Your other half buys you a new frock. He's pleased with himself, that he got your dress size correct and bought it from that designer boutique that you like so much. He's booked a table at some swanky restaurant that you've been trying to get into, for 4 years. You know he's expecting you to wear the frock.Only thing is,it's much longer or shorter than you'd like, and is leopard print or zebra print or whatever it is that you're not so keen on.The point is - you hate it.It's the most hideous frock you've ever seen in your life - and now it's yours.Do you tell him that you hate it,or wear it for this big night out ,so as not to hurt his feelings ?

Good question but yeah i would tell him that i am not keen on animal print, but then praise him for the effort and getting everything else right and would hopefully wouldn't still have to wear it to the meal ;D
