Sky showing league 2 games, is that new, dont remember it last season? Yea i was surprised about this as well. Maybe Sky are trying to make up for they've lost to Setanta this season, like the FA Cup for example. The BBC's contract to show Championship games starts this season doesn't it, so they'll be showing less Championship games as well.

That means all BBC have this season is Premier League highlights (unless they show some World Cup qualifiers featuring Scotland/Wales/Northern Ireland).

So Rotherham look in dire straits, will they even be allowed to start the season? What a state league 2 is in this year

I think it wouldn't be a bad idea to switch League 2 games to Monday and Friday nights when there are no other games and have a TV station that broadcasts live games.
Might generate some revenue for these clubs and there will be people who want to watch football on any night of the week that will subscribe to this channel.
Personally I would rather that the TV channels I subscribe to show football rather than other sports in which I'm not partciularly interested.

It looks like Rotherham will have to agree to a 17-point deduction if they are to take up their place in League Two...

Rotherham have accepted their penalty. They are not allowed to appeal against the penalty and must return to Rotherham within 4 years. They were forced to leave Millmoor at the end of last season and will play this season's home games at Don Valley Stadium in Sheffield.

And if they dont return within 4 years, they are booted out? Makes the next 4 years irrelevant then really if they dont return.

Bournemouth have also been deducted 17 points, at least it gives Luton a chance of survival now.

And Bournemouth get just 17 hours to accept it. Where's the justice in that? So we now have a mini-league of three teams at the bottom of the league to avoid the bottom two places.

17? That's a bit random...

And surely Luton will appeal and try and get their's reduced to -17? There are some poor teams in this league, so if they could get 65-70 points, they might just stay up. I hope so, because tripe like Macclesfield and Accrington dont deserve to stay in, just because of points penalties.

Luton's penalties are done and dusted i think. Its a minus ten and a minus twenty. So i'd guess the best they could get is minus twenty-seven. However these teams deserve to have points deducted as they broke the rules.

-17 seems unfair when Leeds got away with -15 for doing something much worse.

None of them can appeal, so that is that! Time for them to focus on survival
