And surely Luton will appeal and try and get their's reduced to -17? There are some poor teams in this league, so if they could get 65-70 points, they might just stay up. I hope so, because tripe like Macclesfield and Accrington dont deserve to stay in, just because of points penalties. Well Macclesfield and Chester both got thrashed today. I do hope Bournemouth and Rotherham can survive, a draw and a win today!

They did enough last year I agree though that there does need to be a clearout of some of the smaller teams who are clearly never going to be getting big gates.

Good comeback by Gillingham yesterday to get that 1-1 draw at Bournemouth. Losing would have confirmed my suspicions about their away form, but a draw is an ok result especially as they lost the corresponding fixture last season around Christmas time when Bournemouth hadn't won a home league game up until then. Bournemouth are arguably a better team now too, following their form at the tail end of last season, but i don't know how many of last seasons team they've lost.

I think there should be a clearout of teams that do get big gates, i.e. they should go up...
We started with a 2-1 home win against Notts County but reports are that they were better than last season and we also played well. I don't really care how much we win them by because it's the points that matter and we have 3 on the board.

End of the day, it's results that matter over the season, yes you get 14000 and Daggers get 1400, but why should the tables be done on gate size?

Yes it's results at the end of the season, not after first day. Daggers won't be top of the table come the end of the season.

We were always going to lose to Bradford and in particular Peter Thorne! Still, that is one of the toughest fixtures out the way. Hope we can get some points on the board quite soon though.

Why has this sunk so far down. We're now top of this division!

Go Bradford. You really are about 2 divisions below where they should be.

I did say I thought you'd do well, talking to a Bradford fan, and he seemed to hint you've spent a bit this year, better make sure you do it, or it could be dark times ahead. Good luck, make sure you beat Cheaterfield!

The goal Notts conceded on Satureday was laughable!

Your second goal against us was rather too. I seem to recall your defender on the edge of the box went to clear and instead crossed it straight into the area for Peter Thorne to put away.

The Bradford game is actually the only game we've lost this season. The problem is we haven't won any either!

I'm quite happy to see you take points of teams like Shrewsbury, but in reality as long as we win our own games we don't need to worry about how other teams are doing.

The goal Notts conceded on Satureday was laughable! Not as ridicoulous as Gillingham's 7-0 defeat at Shrewsbury last weekend! At the start of the season I said that i don't think Gillingham will make the playoffs because of their dodgy away form, but on that result they're more likely to finish bottom half. Also Aldershot seem to be the ex Royals club! Noticed that Ricky Newman was sent off last weekend (surprised he's still playing at 38) and they've also got Louie Soares, a youngster who left us at the end of the 04-05 season having checked soccerbase (strange as i thought it was much earlier than that) and who hasn't done anything in either league football or conf football since, plus Scott Davies on a seasons loan for the 2nd season running.

finally we lose a game and they get on posting it. I didn't see anyone come here posting when we were winning.
