I know it's a month away, but just wondering if robin will be able to carry on this excellent game? If not, will Frag be able to step into his shoes, or should we look for another volunteer? Just thought I'd check, so that we can start drumming up support, and make sure we get the regulars and a few newbies playing ;D

To be honest I really struggled towards the end of last season and I know work is going to be demanding in Sept & Oct so I am not going to take it on this season. Anyone else is free to volunteer to take over.

Frag has very kindly offered to carry this on, and I'll help out whenever he needs it, so hopefully everyone from last season will be back to play, plus a few new people.

Won't be predicting during August as i'm away on holiday, unless this starts for the opening weekend of Championship games. Although given my poor record in predicting Championship games last season i don't think i'd miss out by not predicting that week!

The first week of Predicta will be the week of Saturday 16 August, and from then on there'll be one round every week. I'll try to get the first set of fixtures up by Tuesday 12 August.

Maybe if people are away, you could have the fixtures lined up for people to future predict, not ideal, but you should (hopefully) score more than if you dont predict?

Cheers frag, realised after my post that i would be able to predict that week after all. It may not be possible to check the results at the weekend, or i may forget my predictions lol, so atm not sure its worth it though. Plus i may be too busy anyway, we'll see Maybe if people are away, you could have the fixtures lined up for people to future predict, not ideal, but you should (hopefully) score more than if you dont predict? Thats not a bad idea, it would certainly help if i was busy. Really depends how much interest i have though and that is important because if i don't have much interest then generally i don't do that well! It just seems a chore.

I could do that, I suppose... after setting up the first few weeks, it'd only be one new set of fixtures per week. Just as long as it doesn't confuse people :-)

Yeah, you'll have to check UKFPL for your first weekly dose. Sorry for prolonging the withdrawal symptoms!
