I find it amusing that Noel comes out slagging off the Kaisers, just as they have a new album out. I really liked falling down, sounded a bit diff, shock of the lightning, just sounds like a song from a few years ago, disappointing.

"Im outta time" sounds brilliant.massive.definitely a great oasis moment. btw,all the tracks are very good and Andy you are right when you say that TSOTL "sounds like a song from a few years ago".That year is 1995 when oasis was the greatest band of the world which means that TSOTL sounds like

I hate the lead single, it's just do typically Oasis, I hate that they always come back with some hideous lad/dad rock anthem that barely sounds different from the last one. Songs like 'Songbird', 'The Importance...', 'Let There Be Love' and 'Stop Crying...' have all been much better than their last four hideous lead singles.

Man, I love the importance single, that is one of my fave Oasis moments, it was just so different, but bloody catchy for them! And I'm a dad, and I dont like the shock of the lightning!

As a matter of interest Andy do you own any Oasis albums? Their last one Don't Believe The Truth is brill, fab all the way through.

That's because you're a dad with taste! It just sounds like something really generic that could be lifted off any of those hideous compilations that are released every year for Fathers day.

Dad rock? That's Metallica's field. The new single is ok, I'm liking it. The "Falling Down" remix by the Chemical Brothers is fantastic, the original not so much but I'm still looking forward to the album! Oh, and "The Importance of Being Idle" is one of their finest moments of recent times - that was #1 on my personal chart and I still listen to it a lot to this day.

What I used to like about Oasis is they didn't go for this remix nonsense.
In fact they lost the battle with Blur because they only had one CD out with one version of the song.
Obviously Oasis are now:
SELL OUTS
