Expecting a low score this week, know v little about League 1 and only follow selected teams in League 2. Handily both the League 2 teams im following (through Reading connections) are playing each other, but it still doesnt make it any easier to predict as they're both doing well!
Saturday 25 October D8 Blackburn v Middlesbrough (17.30) A6 West Brom v Hull D1 Barnsley v Bristol City D2 Coventry v Derby H9 Norwich v Doncaster H7 Swansea v Southampton D3 Watford v Wolverhampton H5 Scunthorpe v Millwall D4 Brentford v Shrewsbury (a 0-0 draw as Brentford hardly concede anything..) H10 Celtic v Hibernian

A decent effort, should be enough to win the month!

Blimey Just worked out my score and knew i'd done well but not THAT well! I'll let Frag reveal all, but if there's ever been a higher score than mine in the history of Footie Predicta then i'll be seriously impressed! Only went for a high prediction for the Norwich game because of Lita, in fact im not sure i would have even gone for a home win for Norwich if it wasnt for him. He was the main reason why Norwich thrashed Wolves in their previous game and once he starts scoring he normally goes on a run. So nice to see him repay my faith in him Also expected the W Brom-Hull game to be tight, was very tempted to go for a draw so a bit of luck there. Got lucky with draws in my lowest two predictions as well, when im not sure i just go for a draw, im never normally lucky with Championship matches! But apart from that i was just unusually accurate this week!

RESULTS: OCTOBER 25th1. Tom 517 2. Earl Purple 396 3. Andy 374 4. Frag 363 5. Robin 341 6. misterhamster 319 7. greendemon 220 8. Maximo Mark 88 9. ManicKangaroo -11 Congratulations to Tom, who wins this week with a very impressive 517 points, only getting one prediction wrong! Taxi for Manic Kangaroo, who clocks up a negative score for only getting one prediction right... that must be the biggest-ever difference between highest and lowest scores Edit: Tom, your 517 wasn't even the highest score of the month! Robin managed 528 a few weeks ago. The record stands at 539... FINAL OCTOBER TABLE1 [1] Robin 1463 2 [5] Frag 1221 3= [6] Earl Purple 1199 3= [3] misterhamster 1199 5 [7] Andy 1155 6 [4] greendemon 1089 7 [2] Maximo Mark 1001 8 [9] Tom 880 9 [8] ManicKangaroo 683 10 [10] KingB 242 11 [11] chartsfanatic 143 Congratulations to Robin! He wins this month after narrowly finishing 2nd in Augtember, ending up with a 242-point advantage over Frag, who rallies to come second. After a rare poor week, Maximo Mark slides from 2nd all the way down to 7th. It's all back to zero (month-wise) now as we enter November, which will have five gameweeks.

2008/09 TABLE AFTER OCTOBER 1 [2] Robin 3223 2 [3] misterhamster 2937 3= [4] Earl Purple 2882 3= [5=] Frag 2882 5 [5=] Andy 2816 6 [1] Maximo Mark 2783 7 [10] greendemon 2255 8 [7] Tom 2168 9 [8] ManicKangaroo 1926 10 [11] KingB 1397 11 [9] Chartsfanatic 1320
Robin heads this table too; Maximo Mark slips to 6th, mostly due to that last week... misterhamster climbs to 2nd, and the 286-point gap is still very much assailable...

Maybe I should start predicting and not just putting high points on our relegation rivals to win...

Edit: Tom, your 517 wasn't even the highest score of the month! Robin managed 528 a few weeks ago. The record stands at 539... Wasn't sure if anyone had ever got over 500 tbh! Can't believe i didn't remember Robin's score from a few weeks ago although it is vaguely familiar come to think of it. Think this week is tougher than last week... Saturday 1 November H10 Chelsea v Sunderland H9 Man United v Hull H8 Middlesbrough v West Ham H7 Portsmouth v Wigan D6 Tottenham v Liverpool (17.30) - Didn't realise this was on tv, may go to the pub to watch this with mates..Its not often that Spurs have back to back league games televised. D3 Burnley v Norwich A5 Doncaster v Swansea D4 Ipswich v QPR H2 Preston v Southampton D1 Sheff Utd v Plymouth
