Welcome to the 1st round of this season’s FA Cup Predicta!
Here are the rules: Look at the 10 games below and predict a result of Home Win, Away Win or Draw. You also have to rank them 10-1, ie 10 is your strongest prediction and 1 your weakest. Each ranking/number can only be used once. If you get a prediction correct, you will receive points accoring to the ranking you used for that match, multiplied by 10. If you are wrong, you will be deducted the number points equal to the ranking used. Predictions for this round can be made in the thread or PMed to me if you want secrecy.
Please have your predictions in before the games kick off at 3pm Saturday 3rd January.
In the event of a tie, the tiebreaker question will determine the winner.
As there was an odd number of entries, frag, as reigning champion, receives a bye to the quarter-finals. The other 10 have been paired into 5 matches. The 5 winners, plus the 2 highest scoring losers will go through to the quarter-finals.
The draw: greendemon v Maximo Mark suedehead v misterhamster KingB v Tom paddy v Robin Andy v Earl Purple frag - bye
Here are the 10 matches to predict on:
Arsenal v Plymouth Birmingham v Wolves Cardiff v Reading Forest Green v Derby Histon v Swansea Hull v Newcastle Leicester v Crystal Palace Man City v Nottingham Forest West Brom v Peterborough West Ham v Barnsley
TIEBREAK: How many goals will be scored in the 10 matches listed?

I'll go next as me and Robin are playing each other in this round!
Just a quick question, can we have draws on this or is it simply home or away win?

Surprised you chose Cardiff-Reading. But then i imagined saying just that as i had a feeling you would for some strange reason H10 Arsenal v Plymouth D7 Birmingham v Wolves H9 Cardiff v Reading - Not tactical, i genuinely expect us to lose this! A4 Forest Green v Derby A3 Histon v Swansea H2 Hull v Newcastle D1 Leicester v Crystal Palace H8 Man City v Nottingham Forest H5 West Brom v Peterborough H6 West Ham v Barnsley Not expecting to get a high score, i don't generally do well in the cup!

Difficult with Barnsley and Cardiff doing so well last year and Swansea going out to a non-league team it's hard to think things will go differently this year...

So what happens now? Do we need to wait for the re-arranged games to be played to find out who goes through to the next round of Predicta?
