Yup, Survivor was axed after two series, it was the US version that aired on Challenge TV (series 1). In the US they're now on their eighth series since 2000...
As for Series 1 UK, it's probably the best reality show I've seen, none of the cast were scared of being deeply unpleasant and Eve was beyond evil... Had I been a Survivor though I'd have voted for Jackie in the final two, she made several plots to advance herself in the game having narrowly turned around a vote against her in the first Tribal Council to make it all the way to the final two...
Series 2 was dull, I went to school with Drew from that one you know!

I'd love to see em again, would also like to see the US ones as well, wonder if they will start showing them on Challenge again? I remember you saying you went to school with Drew! So who replaced Charlotte then in back to reality?

Well, she was just EVIL, Drinking the ketchup so no-one else could have it (she knew by then she'd be voted off) was my favourite,

Her last episode was just her doing whatever she could to take revenge on the others for outsmarting her!

lol, well good on her. they made a huge mistake voting off that bible bloke. it could have all gone to plan if they hadnt done that. But did they? He would've been a huge threat in immunity challenges, already had the Helang votes in his pocket, and let's face it, would NOT have had trouble winning the final vote against ANYONE I believe... What happened in my opinion was that Jackie saw her future in the tribe, and worked out that the best she'd be likely to finish was fifth (without immunity) and decided to do something about it, first by getting rid of the biggest roadblock, and then by cementing a new alliance with someone who REALLY didn't have any other options (Charlotte), and drew Richard into a final three alliance...

chances are he wouldnt have won every challenge though. and they could have got richard off if he had won the next challenge.
what was his name anyway?

chances are he wouldnt have won every challenge though. and they could have got richard off if he had won the next challenge. what was his name anyway? Pete was his name... And in US Survivor there've been a good few times where someone has put together a really good run on IC wins, Kelly from series 1 won immunity from the last 6 all the way to the last 2 (which the contestants may well have known about) and Colby from series 2, who was probably the closest contestant in terms of personality and physicality won all the ICs from the final 7 to final 2... I can see the thinking behind it, Pete was a real challenge threat, having won 2 immunities and 2 rewards to that point (and two of the strongest players after the merge had been sent off already)... Survivor patterns kind of work like this: Early: Vote of the weak players, to strengthen your team. Just before merge: Eliminate threats who are NOT in your alliance Just after merge: Eliminate the strongest players formerly on the other tribe Then: Eliminate people not in your alliance Final 4: Eliminate any remaining players who can beat you in a final 2... Pete was the only person who wasn't in an end-game alliance apart from Charlotte, but he was a much bigger threat, which was why he lost... By that stage, Jackie and Richard were allied, as were Eve, Zoe and Mick, the latter alliance made the error, it was the perfect move for the former... as Charlotte would then do whatever it took to stay around...

i don't understand why richard didn't go back with mick when it got down to the last 4
who would have gone that week if him and charlotte had had 2 votes each?

Charlotte would have gone, I don't think Mick had any prior votes, while Charlotte had four.... Richard had immunity, and I think he was sure Jackie would take him to final two (comments made in the last episode back this up), whereas Mick was a well liked contestant, who may have beaten Richard in the final two (Jackie and Charlotte would NOT have) so it'd make sense to have two people who you would probably beat there...

Mick was the one who buried rice to cause arguments in camp, not THAT trustworthy, anyways, people who flip flop on alliances are not viewed favourably, ask Jackie... I REALLY hope Challenge TV pick up the other series of US Survivor, Season 1 was great and I really want to see the rest!
