It's totally different!
In 1999 I had a one year old son, was happily married, living the dream - big house, nice car, 2 fab holidays a year, didn't work (went to the gym for 2 hours a day instead, then did "ladies who lunch") and wanted for nothing more than I had.
Now, 10 years on, I have an 11 year old and a 9 year old, to which I am a single mum, working hard to pay the bills and still struggling financially, never going on holiday unless my lovely parents pay for it, living in a small terraced house and driving a sh!tty car.
Who'd have thought eh!

My sons will be old enough to be kinda independent so I'm sure my life will be completely different yet again. I'd like to think that I'll be enjoyng approaching 50 with a slower pace of life with good friends to share it with.

If you were able to change three of your characteristics from your genetic makeup what would you biologically tweak ?

What a good question!
I'd not be so moley (I get that from my mum)
I'd not have a bowel condition (I get that from my dad)
And I'd not have a big roman nose (I get that from my mum too)

how would you describe your religious beliefs? I don't have any well, not having any is still a belief - i.e. you believe that there is nothing ;D but let's say you are god (don't get used to it ) what 5 things would you eradicate from the world?

I have only a handful for myself, and again they're just shoved on the shelf along with the rest of them. It's very rare that I watch a DVD to be honest ....

I would eradicate: Cancer Paedophiles/Sex offenders Nuclear bombs/War Money (it's the root of all evil) Hollyoaks!

The supposed "prettiness" of it all - it's trying to be a glamourous American drama .... and it's just not!

Spot on there. If you were legally able to leave the boys on their own for the morning under strict instruction not to leave the house and to 'behave or else' ... what do you expect the house to be like when you got home after work.. from a cup 'half full' perspective?

I think if they were under instructions not to let anybody in or to go out then the house would be pretty much as I left it as they'd probably watch tv or play xbox all day! It wouldn't be messier as they wouldn't cook - probably do pot noodle for lunch or something lol And it definately wouldn't be tidier - I have to ground them for the day until it's done if I want their help

Time for your "Fantasy Menu".... What would you ideally have prepared for you for dinner & dessert for each day of the week (bearing in mind a diet isn't an issue here & someone else is cooking all this for you) Copy/paste this into your reply if you please madam and fill in the blanks. --------------------- Main Course -------------- Dessert ----------- Monday : Tuesday : Wednesday : Thursday : Friday : Saturday : Sunday :
