Unfortunately the original line up won't be able to use the Sugababes brand, I heard they are reforming they have to come up with a different band name.

I think that brand name has been tarnished forever now anyway so a fresh name is the best way forward

Well they've trademarked "The Original Sugababes" and "One Touch"; so we'll wait and see, but I can't wait to hear the results as I think the b(r)and peaked with their debut album.

I did like the original Sugababes wonder if the other Sugababes will still release a new album. I am beginning to think that the 8th Sugababes album is not going to see the light of day - unless of course they are hoping to cash in a big Heidi win on Dancing On Ice - but after last night she just escaped being voted off in the first week, so I shan't hold my breath. It wouldn't surprise me if they had been quietly dropped.

I think Heidi is hoping to do a McFly. Win a reality TV show and then everyone will be interested in you again

Ex-Sugababes singer Mutya Buena has denied claims that the original line-up are reuniting.
Keisha Buchanan, Siobhán Donaghy and Buena were recently reportedly working on new material and were set to record with the Xenomania songwriting and production team (Girls Aloud, Kylie Minogue, Pet Shop Boys) as well as their old producer Cameron McVey, who worked on their 2000 album 'One Touch' and Siobhán Donaghy's debut album 'Revolution In Me' (2003).
But Buena has taken to her Twitter page Twitter.com/originalmutyab, denying any plans that she is set to record with her fellow band members and is apparently concentrating on new solo material.
She wrote: No track [with] Keisha or Professor G, he was around the studio. I'm just working on my stuff at the moment. The original Sugababes line-up formed in 1998 and released their debut album 'One Touch' in 2000. Donaghy left the band in 2001 and was replaced by Heidi Range. Buena departed in 2005 to be replaced by Amelle Berrabah and Buchanan was last to leave in 2009, with Jade Ewan stepping into her shoes.

The original members of the Sugababes have registered the name 'Mutya Keisha Siobhan' ahead of their comeback later this year.
The trio, who made their pop debut in 2000 founded the name but is currently the property of their former record label, and still used by Amelle Berrebah, Heidi Range and Jade Ewen.
Mutya Buena currently owns all rights to stationary bearing the name 'Sugababes' after winning a court case in 2010.
Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanon and Siobhan Donaghy signed a £1million deal with Polydor Records in April 2012 and have been working with MNEK, Asterix and Craze & Hoax on their first album as a three-piece since 'One Touch' in 2000. BRIT Award winner Emeli Sande has also revealed she has been writing tracks for the trio.

Mutya Keisha Siobhan.. totally trips off the tongue doesn't it? Still, looking forward to hearing what they come up with.

MKS is quite catchy though, so hopefully they'll use that mainly instead.

I'm sure that's just a temporary name. Hopefully anyway.

I can't wait! Though it would be nice if Keisha had learned a different pose to her standard "flaunts massive cleavage cos Heidi & Assmelle have nothing on these DD's"

It's a shame they had to change their name though, they ARE the Sugababes!! Maybe one day they can win back the rights to use it. Not keen on the new name at all. Should have been abbreviated to MKS much better. Last.FM Artist Page already created www.last.fm/music/Mutya+Keisha+SiobhanSo has MKS www.last.fm/music/M+K+S
