No chart posted last week in this thread ... perhaps because of a static Top 3 and me playing around with a new PC ... Anyway this week sees Nerina Pallot make it 4 weeks at the summit; Ohio's blues rockers debut at #8 with a great song and a funny video; Ireland's folk indie rockers the Villagers are the highest climbers; Liverpool's Wombats return with a very 1980s synth pop track; there's surely a future club chart crossover anthem that is rather better than Kelly Rowland's former bandmate's new single; London's indie folk songwriter Emma-Lee Moss returns to my chart; as does the lead single from Calvin Harris' forthcoming 3rd album featuring Kelis; Super Furry Animals Gruffydd returns to the lower end of the chart, as does Sade.

Great call on the John Grant track. I discovered him and his album "The Queen of Denmark" while surfing YouTube by accident late 2010. The title track is one of my favorites of the past year. He is apparently a local here in Seattle but seems to be better known in Europe (possibly due to extensive touring there).
