I watched the opening episodes without knowing anything about it - and loved it. I didn't know that Billy Campbell was gonna be in it ,so that was a sexy bonus. I taped it for my folks, but they gave up after half an hour. Once my Da heard that my brother loved it (they have the same taste),he gave it another go,but only lasted another half an hour.

I've not seen the original, but seeing as this version has Mr Billy Campbell,I'm bound to prefer it. My money's on the guy who I don't know the name of : the guy who works with the father of the victim, and found wet pajamas in the bin. Him. I think he's too eager to help,to duff up whoever the police are interested in. Or something.

Still watching, I think its something to do with the dodgy senator. The ending of episode 5 was a bit of a cliffhanger, the senator and the teacher in the picture together.

I've decided to ditch this, its not a patch on the original and I just keep comparing them

I've decided to ditch this, its not a patch on the original and I just keep comparing them That's the trouble when you have seen the original plus you know what's going to happen, for me its different as I haven't seen the original.

Thank goodness. I'm loving the US version, but as everyone says its not a patch on the original, I'm really looking forward to seeing it

I would love to see the original but I'm so into the US version at the moment, and I don't want to jump on the original yet, BBC4 could have waited a bit longer seeing both versions would just confuse me even more.

I think the best thing about the US Killing is the actress that plays the lead role... don't think I've seen her in other shows... really like her... think you guys should have a little patience, it really picks up the pace during the last epis of S01 and the finale is great, very interesting cliffhanger, cannot wait for s02

The latest ending was chilling - and I think it needed it,as it was being a bit too slow for the previous couple of episodes.

Still watching the US version, last night's episode gave another twist at the end, I think the series has suddenly picked up its feet and throwing more red herrings into the story, so I'm enjoying it.
The trouble with the original is you are reading the dialogue and probably too difficult to follow, I've seen the odd episode here and there on BBC4, but sometimes you can't make any sense of it.

This weeks episode, where Jack hadn't gone to school was SO incredibly mind numbingly boring. I didn't care if he was dead or alive. Oh,and when the cops found a body that matched his description,I didn't think for a minute that it would be him.And it wasn't. My expression :
