Which of these songs in the year 1999 in your view should not have been #1, I am doing polls for the whole Nineties this time, once we have 10+ winners (we have to split up some years there is not enough options on a poll to match the #1's in a year) we will have a last poll to decide which song out of the years 1990-1999 should not have been #1.
These are 3 day polls this time.
Happy Voting

A terrible year for #1s. Bad that they were there are 2 that stand out as direr than dire and they are Baz Lurhmann and Cliff Richard. Voted for Baz.

Hmm I like this year better than the last 3. There's quite a bit of pap pop but the dance songs make up for it a bit more than in the other years.
I reckon this one's going to be close with Westlife splitting the votes possibly leading to something unexpected going through to the final.

Plus it had Offspring at #1 - that alone makes it a better year for #1s than '96 or '98.

There are an awful lot of abominations on the list but chose one.

Gosh, there is some dire tracks there. Though the one I hated the most is Mr Oizo, followed by Baz Luhrmann. BL being slightly more deserving as it had a bit of sentiment behind, whereas Mr Oizo was just plain pointless in my opinion.
