Which of these songs in the year 1967 in your view should not have been #1, I am doing polls for the whole Sixties this time, once we have 10 winners (we have to split up some years there is not enough options on a poll to match the #1's in a year plus joint winners) we will have a last poll to decide which song out of the years 1960-1969 should not have been #1.
These are 3 day polls this time.
Happy Voting

One of the worst years of the sixties - plenty of choice there.

1967. Arguably the best year ever for popular music, yet a number of duds reached UK#1.

The song I voted for here got to #1 a second time too. I think that may only apply to one song on this list therefore it's obvious which one I picked.
In any case it's a very lame song by two artists, one of whom sang one of my favourite #1s ever, about my favourite theme, and the other who is her dad and is legendary.
WTF was this though?

I'm probably the only one who will have voted for this particular song. Paul McCartney said it was his favourite song of all-time at the time but I've always hated it with a passion.

Voted for the worst song ever to hit the top of the chart. "Song", notice, not spoken word or Flat Eric/Crazy Frog instrumental.

I'm actually predicting Engelbert Humperdinck will win this but as he has 2 songs the vote may be split on that. Release Me would have been my 2nd choice for the year but I actually like The Last Waltz.

Who keeps voting for Beatles songs and how could anyone vote for "All You Need Is Love" which is definitely my favourite #1 of 1967.

I voted for Frank & Nancy as it is indeed rather stupid but definitely will not be voting for either in 1966: These Boots Are Made For Walking is a classic - and she wore them. Really nice sexy ones. Strangers In The Night is also a classic.

Surprised at the votes for Long John Baldry, who used to be in a band with Elton John, on the basis that I'm amazed people have heard it if nothing else. Don't get the hate for Humperdinck, at least he can sing.
