Which of these songs in the year 1964 in your view should not have been #1, I am doing polls for the whole Sixties this time, once we have 10 winners (we have to split up some years there is not enough options on a poll to match the #1's in a year plus joint winners) we will have a last poll to decide which song out of the years 1960-1969 should not have been #1.
These are 3 day polls this time.
Happy Voting

Think there are only 2 that are worthy of consideration. Astonishingly strong line-up.

How much would I give for a set of number ones as good as that? Even the weaker ones are by no means terrible.

This is one of the strongest lists we have had. For me it was between 3.

Agree with everything that has been said - one of strongest years for #1s ever.

What a strong year for #1s.
Voted for the song whose lyrics look ever so wrong in today's climate.

If it's the one I think it is, I really like it...OK, the singer didn't have the best voice in the world, but it suited the song well.

Nothing at all, really. Other than it's a bit old-fashioned.

Interesting that other than that song the voting was fairly spread, Little Children (the one I actually voted for) being the only other song to pick up more than one vote. "Little Children" wasn't that bad, a bit twee, but it was a generally strong year.

I voted for one of the most grotesque examples of "who you know". Nobody would have heard of Peter Asher had he not been the brother of Paul McCartney's then-girlfriend and had Macca not given him a bunch of songs; the proof is shown by one of their McCartney songs being released with Macca's involvement being kept pseudonymous and the thing bombing.
