Hurt was good, wasn't expecting that. The other two songs were just rather meh really.

Hmmm.. the problem is that all three songs are so great with male, rocky, raspy vocals.. Leona's smooth tone doesn't translate that well onto any of the three tracks in my opinion... Iris is probably the best of the three for me (based on the covers), but as for songs, Colourblind is my favourite, but when it's sung by Counting Crows!

I just cherry picked Hurt from the e.p. It's actually a great cover, though her performance on last nights X-Factor didn't really do it much justice, as she was so bloody boring and really not comfortable being there, in my op.

It's difficult knowing what to do with her really. She does something different (Collide) and it bombs (relatively speaking) and so she resorts to type and it's back to the covers- I'm not fan but then I love the Cash Version so I don't suppose I would be,....

come on Leona is not that bad at doing covers I hate her version of Run, she sucks the soul out of it, and then finishes it off by wailing uncontrollably! im a big snow patrol fan so obv the original is the best but leona version was amazingly good that im going to disagree that it suck the soul out of the song in fact i think it adds something different to SP Original

I love both versions of Run, but Leona's is just so incredible - one of my favourite songs of all-time.
Haven't yet heard any of these studio versions so I will check them out tomorrow. I enjoyed her take on SCYHO so hopefully I won't be disappointed.

It's not really connected with the public much. A good start on itunes due to X Factor coverage but already out of the top 10 now

^ She has a small and diminishing fanbase who will buy her stuff but she is now struggling to appeal to a wider audience

Apparently her album has been pushed back until NOVEMBER. Yes, November.
She really needs to leave SYCO ASAP, her career has been chronically mis-managed.

So, she's dropped then.

I don't think so. They recently got Clive Davis involved in the album and he basically seemed to suggest they were rejecting her self-penned work in favour of stuff penned by professional songwriters. So I think they are redoing the entire album, and hoping to cash in on 2012's Christmas sales.

It will be way too late by then. Her popularity is already through the floor now. Nearly another year to wait will be the end of her

They may as well just scrap the Glass Heart era altogether and work on a new album entirely. New name, new album cover, new lead single. This era has been tainted by all the push-backs now in the same way that happened to Ciara. Look how that went...

^I agree. In hindsight it's annoying that a title and cover was released as everything about the third album needs to be revamped.
This will be Leona's 'Her Name Is Nicole'.
