Ooh tropcal fish or coldwater? I keep tropicals! Are you aware of the procedure to get tropical fish from habitat to captivity? Yes but most are captive bred for the aquarium trade these days, on big outdoor fish farms in Asia where it's warm, then imported in their thousands. Some that won't breed easily and most marines (saltwater fish) are still wild caught though. Why do you ask Paddy?

Because tropical fish are one of the most destroying things for the tropical sea habitats. The fish trade destroys everything, with the use of dynamite or electric probes or gassed spray. The coral is killed, every living animal killed or put into a coma and left to be eaten. And it appears more then you make out from your statement.
Anyway, will stop here and let the thread carry on about knobs flailing about.

You're talking £50 to hundreds for a fish or much more sometimes. A lot if it dies next day. Freshwater tropicals, as I say, are mostly captive bred these days so no habitats or wild stock is affected.

Interesting video....! Strangely, even though I'm not one to turn down a bit of gratituous flesh, you look much better in your avatar than in the video!

Back on topic. Have you sent your video in yet Tommy? I reckon they'll want to know more so you may get through to the next stage.

i reckon you should bite the head of your budgie and keep shouting "you want some" into the camera until you break down crying, maybe rip your clothes off muttering "its to warm, why am i so warm" and try and get into your fish tank to cool down, hopefully it shatters and goes everywhere, would add to the drama... thats gotta get you on BB.
i reckon they see 1000s of these look at me im quirky in my towel videos every series and just pass straight away, you gotta get yourself noticed.
*disclaimer* in no way do i condone eating budgies in any way, shape or form, a prop and editing might be a better option

This thread has way more replies than it deserves. Just saying.
Ps. I understand the irony of posting in the thread to say this.

Come to think of it Tommy I tend to agree with Daz that it needs something a bit more unusual. Also the birds may put them off! If I were you I'd do another with something a bit more unusual. Be sure to post it for us to see first though.
