Emeli Sande, Paloma Faith, Mel B to replace Jessie J on The Voice UK? Source: MW by Tina Hart
The creators of television talent show The Voice UK are currently searching for another 'young and current' female solo artist to replace the outgoing Jessie J and rumours have pointed to Emeli Sande, Paloma Faith and Mel B.
Jessie J announced her departure from the show as she is set to concentrate her time on promoting her second studio album. The Mirror reports that she will be spending most of next year touring overseas.
The Mirror also reports that Adele was in the running for the coveted 'coach's' spot but that show's organisers said it was 'unrealistic' that she would come on board.
The remaining coaches - will.i.am, Tom Jones and Danny O'Donoghue - are yet to be confirmed for series three.
Tom Jones said of the coaching panel last month: ““The four of us make a great team — one without the other wouldn’t work.”
Other artists being given favourable odds by bookies to join the show include Rita Ora, Pixie Lott, Florence Welch and Ellie Goulding.

Danny O'Donoghue has followed Jessie J out of The Voice, becoming the second coach to quit the show in as many weeks.
The Script star, who won the last series with act Andrea Begley, announced on Twitter that he will not be returning for a third series due to recording commitments.
"I had two wonderful seasons on The Voice and as everybody knows I gave it my heart and soul and couldn't be more proud of the show and what we have achieved," the 32-year-old said.
"My focus will be on The Script moving forward as we are about to embark on the most important part of our career as a band."

Two down, one to go. With luck will.i.am's announcement that he is leaving isn't far off. Tom Jones plus three new coaches could be a considerable improvement. It surely can't be hard to find people less annoying than Danny O'Donoghue and will.i.am.

It surely can't be hard to find people less annoying than Danny O'Donoghue and will.i.am. I'd go along with this. Considering Endemol's The Voice is now the dominate singing TV talent show franchise globally ahead of Simon Fuller's Idol; and SCowell's X-Factor, the BBC really did get their casting wrong from the outset with their coaches as it is nowhere near as good as the USA or Australian versions of the show. But then again as the coaches were selected by the BBC's Head Of Entertainment Katie Taylor who through her wisdom selecting our representatives for the Eurovision Song Contest thought a dated Stock Aitken & Waterman song sung by some never will be was a better bet than a Guy Chambers penned song for Katie Melua produced by William Orbit; Engelbert Humperdinck was a better bet than Hurts (they confirmed they were rejected in May); and apparently Bonnie Tyler was chosen ahead of Pixie Lott; the Darkness; & the Sugababes then is it any wonder some far more entertaining options who were interviewed for The Voice UK (Boy George; Will Young; Ricky Wilson (Kaiser Chiefs); Alison Moyet; Melanie C; Jamelia; Nile Rodgers; Trevor Horn) were all rejected first time around.

If the darkness turned up to Eurovision they would win it and cause all sorts of headaches because then we would have to host it next year and would need to kill off a few hundred thousand pensioners over winter and cull the disabled benefit scrounging scum even further, leaving serious questions like if we kill them all off, who will we blame? so that would never happen
then we cant use the line all of Europe hates us which would cause more problems as the last decade its ben our go to excuse for loosing embarrassingly badly
as for the voice casting they went for the oober cool black guy, the hard ass opinionated chick, the rock star and the veteran cast, the problem was they were "too cool for school". they tried to cast who was down with the kids
a line up of Nile Rodgers, Ricky Wilson, Melanie C and Tom Jones would be great tv

The Voice 2014 will see a new hosting line up after Holly Willoughby and Reggie Yates quit.
The pair will be replaced by Big Brother host Emma Willis and a new, yet to be announced, male co host.
Emma said: “The Voice is an absolutely brilliant TV show with the unique ability to showcase and nurture amazing raw talent. I couldn’t be more excited to a part of it and I cannot wait to get started.”
Holly said: “After much consideration, I will not be returning for series three of The Voice UK. I’ve had two wonderful years on the show, and I feel very privileged to have been a part of it. Finding the right balance between my work and family life is my priority and this has contributed to my decision. I look forward to watching the next series from my sofa, and I wish the whole team the best of luck.”
Reggie said: “I’ve had a fantastic time on the last two series of The Voice UK and I wish all the team the best of luck for the new series.”
Emma tweeted this evening: “I am insanely excited to be joining the team @bbcthevoiceuk What a bonkers year it’s been… Can’t wait to get started!!!”
The official BBC Twitter account added: “@bbcone: We’d like to thank @hollywills and @regyates for the fantastic job they’ve done on the first 2 series of #TheVoiceUK & wish them the best.”
With The Voice starting on BBC one in January next year, it suggests that Emma will be unable to continue her work on Big Brother, or at the very least spinoff show Bit on The Side.
Producers previously confirmed that both Sir Tom Jones and Will.i.am would be back next year, while Kylie Mingoue will join in place of Jessie J along with a new fourth star coach.
Blind Auditions for the new series begin filming in Manchester next month

JLS star Marvin Humes is to co-host the BBC One talent show The Voice when it returns for a third series in January.
He will join Big Brother host Emma Willis following the departure of Holly Willoughby and Reggie Yates earlier this week.
"I'm so excited to be a part of the new series," said Humes, adding that he has always been a "big fan" of the show.
The Voice will return to BBC One in January 2014 with Sir Tom Jones, Kylie Minogue and will.i.am as coaches.
Humes, whose band JLS are splitting up in the coming months following a farewell tour, recently presented an episode of This Morning with his wife Rochelle, of girl group The Saturdays.
The singer also presents his own radio show on Capital FM on Friday and Saturday evenings.
"I have always been a big fan of [The Voice] and love that musicians are given such a great opportunity to reach such a wide audience," he said.
"I'm thrilled to be working alongside Emma and be a part of a new team on The Voice. It's going to be even bigger and better with this new series. I can't wait to start."
Mark Linsey, BBC controller of entertainment commissioning, said: "It's great to have Marvin on board and I think he and Emma will work really well together. He is perfectly placed to encourage the acts throughout the competition."

Ruby Ruby Ruby, its a hint, 4 judge announced for the Voice www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-24157584Ricky Wilson, singer with the Kaiser Chiefs, has joined BBC talent show The Voice, completing the 2014 line-up. A three-time Brit winner, his band is known for songs such as I Predict A Riot, Oh My God and Ruby. He joins new signing Kylie Minogue and returning stars Tom Jones and will.i.am on the judging panel when the show returns to BBC One next January. "Who doesn't want to spend their Saturday night with Kylie Minogue?" said Wilson in a statement. "I spent last winter yelling at The Voice, and both Sir Tom Jones and will.i.am were total superstars. "I'm just lucky the Kaiser Chiefs have rubber stamped my temporary loan!" The singer is renowned for his extravagant stage stunts, and ripped tendons in his foot in 2005 after attempting an ill-advised "scissor kick". "Ricky is one of the UK music scene's great frontmen," said the BBC's Mark Linsey. "He knows all about performance and will complement the rest of the coaching line-up perfectly." New schedule The Voice, in which coaches must rate singers without seeing them, has had a major shake-up as it heads to its third series. Former judges Jessie J and Danny O'Donoghue both left, as did presenters Holly Willoughby and Reggie Yates. The programme had suffered falling ratings in its second year in the face of stiff competition from Britain's Got Talent. However, it recovered in time for the live final, when 7.95 million viewers tuned in to see Andrea Begley crowned the winner - up slightly from the 7.82 million who watched the 2012 final. The talent show will return next year with JLS singer Marvin Humes and Big Brother presenter Emma Willis as hosts. It has been moved up the schedules to January, meaning it will no longer go up against ITV's show Britain's Got Talent. The BBC said the decision to bring the show forward was "in the best interests of viewers".
