The former judge, who quit the ITV show in 2007, has finalised the terms of her comeback and will sign the contract next week, The People reports. Osbourne's salary will make her the highest-paid judge in the show's history, as she is expected to earn a further £500,000 in book and publishing deals. X Factor bosses had feared that Sharon and Ozzy's marital problems would force her to pull out of the agreement, but she will go ahead with the show. "Sharon will be an X Factor judge and it is only a matter of days before the deal is finalised," a source told the paper. "She is being paid a hefty sum of £2 million as Cowell is desperate to have her on the show. She is also expecting to earn half a million more in book and publishing deals. There is no way she would turn down such a well-paid job." Nicole Scherzinger and Gary Barlow are likely to return with £1.5 million pay packets, while Louis Walsh will apparently be paid £1 million for his tenth series.

I'll tune in to see her return.
Really hope it's true that Nicole is still set to return, read that she was calling it quits and that Tulisa would be back.

Sharon Osbourne is to return to The X Factor as a judge for the new series in 2013.
Osbourne, who last appeared on the show in 2007, will join Gary Barlow, Nicole Scherzinger and Louis Walsh.
Dermot O'Leary will continue as a presenter for the ITV show.
Speaking of her return Sharon Osbourne said: "I can't wait to give Gary Barlow a big hug, sit next to the gorgeous Nicole, and of course throw water on dear Louis. Yay!"
Last year's series had some of the lowest ratings since the show began nine years ago.
However, Simon Cowell has promised to change some parts of the next X Factor series.
This year, contestants will face two sets of auditions - firstly with judges in an audition room - and if they're successful a second rehearsal in front of a live audience.

SCD must be rubbing their hands with glee at this news.
Talk about scoring an own goal, as if the perceived bullying of contestants was not such a bad enough thing driving down ratings in the last couple of years like Radio 1 hiring Nick Grimshaw to the breakfast show, they've gone and hired the mother of all bullies.
If Simon had to bring a female back to the panel to boost ratings it had to be either Dannii or Cheryl. But I guess he "wanted a new face on the panel" so reappointed Sharon (""(c) Charlie Brooker 2013)
As Tulisa's great friends with Chelsea Heeley and had dinner recently with Craig Revel Horwood then fingers crossed she will turn up as a contestant on SCD this year.

They have to look for a new judge next year, I heard rumours that Take That will write their new album to be released towards the end of the year, so I'm guessing Gary Barlow will be leaving. Mind you the X Factor contract is up for renewal after its 10th season.
