Time to find out which David Bowie track is Haven's favourite.
Here's how it will work.
1. I have selected 72 David Bowie tracks - they are his 40 best selling downloads, plus his 32 other biggest hits (which is basically everything except for a couple of minor 90s singles).
2. These have been sorted chronologically.
3. Each week, 12 of these tracks will be posted. Week one is tracks 1, 7, 13, 19 etc.
4. You get 4 votes per week. (You don't have to use them all). The 3 most popular tracks will go through to the final.
5. After 6 weeks, we will be down to a shortlist of 18 Bowie tracks.
6. You will then get the chance to rate each of these with a score out of 10. And thusly, Haven's favourite Bowie tracks will become apparent.
So, you have until the end of Friday 14th June to vote on the 12 tracks listed here.

I presume 'John I'm Only Dancing Again' is counted separately from the original?

I think this is a relatively weak group of songs.

Thank you all for voting in Round 1.
Rebel Rebel, Golden Years and Ziggy Stardust make it through to the final, all comfortably ahead of the pack.

A predictable top 3.
Disappointed Kooks did not pick up more votes though.

I've never really liked Kooks, TBH. Even before that awful band were named after it. I'd have voted for the Laughing Gnome over that.

I do quite like 'Dead Man Walking', but not as much as the four songs I did vote for.
