Beck takes some beats inspiration from Chemical Brothers and offers us 'The New Pollution'.

Before Nicki Minaj and Cardi B, Foxy Brown was doing this.

Easy to forget just how fantastic UB40 were in their early days, before they became a covers band and fell apart...

The Beloved notched up a few hits, here is the rather good 'Hello'.

Edelweiss were a trio of Austrian DJs (plus Maria Mathis, female yodeller) who read the JAMMs' famous Manual and decided to follow its precepts. And had a number 1 hit in their native country as a result.
Followed by a second.

I loved Edelweiss! I had this on CD single, which I am pretty sure I bought from a bargain bin in a record shop in Barnstaple for 10p.

This weird instrumental hit reached #4 in 1980 - almost certainly forgotten.
British Hit Singles incorrectly labelled them as French. Actually it was Swiss producer Alain Morisod behind this.

Catchy indie from Bluetones, following up the big hit 'Slight Return'.

Kaliphz 'Walk Like A Champion' is not perhaps a track that will go down in history as a classic.

A fairly effective sampling of 'Golden Brown' in this from Kaleef.
