I've loved the first season so much, the second season is upon us on Thursdays (24 Oct) from next week at 9:00 on Channel 5 with a new recurring character, Amy Acker well known for her role in Joss Whedon's TV series Angel.

I'm hoping Season 3 runs on after Season 2, the series just fits nicely on Thursdays for me, as there is nothing else on apart from Bates Motel which I can watch an hour later.

This is my favourite programme of all at the minute.
Channel 5 were disappointed at the ratings which is why they shifted it to a Sunday night during the first season and is probably why it has been "demoted" to the 10.00p.m. slot now it has changed to a Thursday.
As Thorney has said Season 3 is already airing in the US. Apparently Season 2 which did very well in the US surprisingly revealed the whole story behind the machine and Finch and the start of S£ has not gone down well however Episode 4 seems to be a return to form according to reviews.
Apparently in the US getting Syndication means big bucks for the TV companies. Thus needs a minimum of 88 episodes so it is rare for a show which gets 3 Seasons not to get a fourth and Zap2It are already calling POI as a cert for renewal!!

Excellent two-parter to begin Season 2.
A few twists there I wasn't expecting and neither of us guessed who Root really was although we should have seen that coming.
It was all rushed at the end - they could even have added a few bits and made it a three-parter.
There's great chemistry between all the leads Reese, Finch, Carter and Fusco

That was a promising start and I was really engrossed in it, it just felt all rushed in the end, but the 2 episodes come together pretty well, it just left me wanting more after it finished. I did think at first Root was the other girl until it was revealed it was the blonde short one.
Can't wait for Root to be a permanent fixture it be a great addition to the cast. Hopefully her husband Alexis Denisoff (Buffy, The Vampire Slayer) turns up in a future story.

Returns after mid-season break at 10.00p.m. this Thursday.
Rub got me a DVD of Season 2 from the US for Christmas so I've seen what's coming up but am looking forward to seeing it on terrestrial TV.
The next three episodes are crackers especially Ep 12.
Has been renewed in the US for S4 although viewing figures are off.
No spoilers but for followers there's a massive shock coming in S3. Unfortunately I read about it.

I'm glad this returns on Thursday, unfortunately I know about the massive shock as well in season 3. I'm hoping Channel 5 will screen Season 3 straight afterwords, as the UK are 1 season behind to catch up.

Wow, that was a very interesting episode with the girl and guy taking out the terrorists, really really odd to see it from the other side and have John and Finch as peripheral characters.

That was an excellent episode and there's another couple of corkers coming up shortly. The USA is a full season ahead of us and I believe that Jim Caviezel wanted to have less screen time so that in S3 there are more episodes like this. Maybe this was a forerunner. Apparently they have brought in another couple of lead regulars and Sarah Shahi as Agent Sam Shaw is one of these.

I must admit that was one of the best episodes of the season, its nice to see the main characters in the background for a change and let the other characters come through.

Another double header this week as well, I just hope C5 dont pull the plug on it I think they are rushing it... as the mid-season break took forever, to be honest its better this way. I'm not sure if I missed the new series of CSI: Vegas, that usually starts Feb/March, unless its filling the CSI:NY slot.

Although I had already seen them I was enjoying late night Thursdays with POI so I'm going to miss it now that it is finished.
The last few episodes of Season 2 were great - real chaos and I couldn't see where they were going to go.
Roll on Season 3.

Yeah, I can see C5 binning it if we're not careful, although there is big support for the show on Facebook, so join that if you haven't already
