I'm not surprised at the top two. The score for Atomic is indeed very impressive. Even though eleven isn't an incredibly high number of voters you'd still expect a couple of lower votes to drag down the average somewhat so it's a testament to how strong the song is that this didn't really happen.
Averaging nine isn't too shabby either for the #2 pick.
On balance I think I was a little mean on my scoring of Call Me compared to The Tide Is High. Not sure what I was thinking that day
Cheers.

I get the feeling "Atomic" is a music lover's track. Do a Family Fortunes on Blondie and I'd be surprised if "Atomic" were in the top three answers. Yet it's one that gets more critical acclamation than perhaps any other Blondie track.
Good to see "Maria" getting a big score. It was one of the most heartening comebacks - they were right back on form. Even had that bit of foreign language in it that they did in a couple of other tracks.

Disappointed at the lack of love for The Tide Is High - it was a brilliant little pop record. I can remember Dave Lee Travis slating it on Radio 1 and then it smashed it's way to #1 in a couple of weeks.
Atomic far and away their best track - it's so compelling. Amazing it got top marks form everyone no matter what their particular favourite genre in music.
