Streaming Made Up One-Fifth of U.S. Recorded Music Revenue in 2013 Flat is the new up. The U.S. recorded music industry posted $6.996 billion in revenue for 2013, down a fraction from $7.016 billion in 2012. Sales from CD's, vinyl and other physical formats dropped 12.3%, while digital grew 7.6% last year, according to the Recording Industry Association of America.

yeh and I think Pandora dominates with over half the market, Spotify are only 4th popular. Whereas they are way out in front in the UK.

The other big one is called Rhapsody who taken over Napster in Europe

As I recall, Pandora had to withdraw from the UK (and possibly other European markets) because record companies wanted to much money.

Pandora is approximately five times bigger than Spotify in the United States.
Pandora has no presence in Europe.
