590 Badly Drawn Boy – Disillusion
Another post another where is he now? I have heard he is making music and we could have a new album very soon, really hope so!! Badly Drawn Boy would really fit back in right now. Ace video as well.
589 The Futureheads – The Beginning Of The Twist
One of their poppier moments that wasn't a Kate Bush cover. Doing this list I can start to see why the public fatigued with indie rock hopefully EDM fatigue will set in soon next.
588 Funeral For A Friend – Juneau
Another band still going to lesser standards, Funeral For a Friend are the band that broke Screamo or certainly the band that got it known in the Uk obviously their were bands in US doing it for years. This was their greatest moment where nearly all modern UK rock is indebted.
587 The Subways – Oh Yeah
Still going but their recent stuff is not a patch on the garage rock from their peak yes they are the middle ground between White stripes and Jet so 00s in otherwards.
586 Sigur Rós – Inní mér syngur vitleysingur
I was quite late getting into Sigur Ros but love them now.

585 New Young Ponyg Club – Get Lucky They have one more to come, just loved this era of music so much. 584 Klaxons – Gravity's Rainbow Second of the two nu-rave tracks in this bunch. Loved Klaxons shame they are gone. 583 Jose Gonzalez – Heartbeats Some people don't believe in or like cover versions maybe they think they will always be inferior to the seigniorial or a rehash or a lazy cash in. Sometimes a cover can surpass an original and be completely different. Before it was trendy to make slow covers of big hits and feature them in adverts. Jose Gonzalez made The Knife's underground dance classic into an acoustic masterpiece. Both songs exist and are brilliant in their own ways and yes I know this was an advert song 582 The Coral – Dreaming of You This was going to be my 4th entry into the Liverpool comp but someone else nommed it so brilliant. Another band that is supposed to be back soon, they released a lost album end of last year hopefully the proper album will follow soon. 581 Garbage – Androgyny Garbage now getting way past their best but this actually sounds better now than I remember it maybe as I was such a fan of the first two albums.

580 Blur – Crazy Beat
The Fatboy slim collaboration which wasn't as good as we hoped but still a fine track.
579 The Raveonettes – That Great Love Sound
The song that got me interested in them, still one of their best.
578 U2 – Beautiful Day
No introduction necessary or video required.
577 Saves The Day – Eulogy
Another very fine Emo band just great songwriters, this is the lead single from 'Sound The Alarm' out 2006
576 The Rapture – Olio
One of the songs that got me really excited about them like a more electronic Cure just so good.
575 R.E.M. – Bad Day
Single from Best Of album that harks back to their 80s 'Document' Era sound.
574 Super Furry Animals – Golden Retriever
Brilliant silliness from the crazy Welsh guys.
573 Snow Patrol – Take Back The City
I really used to love Snow Patrol, think was their last really good single.
572 Queens Of The Stone Age – Feel Good Hit Of The Summer
Follow up to the hit 'The Lost Art Of Keeping a Secret' at the time I don't think we were quite ready for it.
571 The Crimea – Lottery Winners On Acid
Underground indie favourite bit of a classic

570 Yeah Yeah Yeahs – Heads Will Roll
Bit of a New York theme to this bunch so many great bands in this section..
569 Tenacious D – Wonderboy
So hard to find this video, shame as its a bit of a classic obviously not in the same league as 'Tribute' but still brilliant.
568 The Strokes – You Only Live Once
Think this should be a little higher ,one of their best singles.
567 Kings Of Leon – The Bucket
One you don't hear very much anymore from arguably their best era.
566 Kasabian – L.S.F.
Early single with a real baggy vibe.

Don't think this next bunch will be popular
565 Eminem – Stan
One of the classic Eminem tracks and brilliant video of course.
564 M83 – Teen Angst
maybe a bit low but they have many more too come.
563 Limp Bizkit – My Way
Yes another one but promise there will be no more hehe
562 The Last Shadow Puppets – Standing Next To Me
Really liked LSP they were somehow better than the sum of their parts for a short time, just great 60s style pop.
561 Ladyhawke – Back Of The Van
First appearance from the lovely Ladyhawke my favourite singer for part of the 00s,hope her new album is soon.

560 Kaiser Chiefs – Never Miss A Beat
Another one from one of the biggest bands of the 00s
559 Interpol – Obstacle 1
Another one from their debut album where most of their best songs are.
558 The Libertines – Can't Stand Me Now
Another indie classic just keep on coming
557 Belle & Sebastian – I'm A Cuckoo
Most of my favourite B&S songs are 90s but a few will sneak into this list.
556 The Automatic – Raoul
The lesser played and possibly less annoying Automatic single.

555 Tool – Parabola
A band I purely discovered through MTV2 who never had any hits in my chart but they make this list as they are awesome.
554 Phantom Planet – California
Most well known as the theme from The OC but I knew it before that, just great 90s style Alt Pop that the US just doesn't seem to make any more.
553 Oasis – Stop Crying Your Heart Out
Their albums were weaker in the 00s but they still had some great singles, this one and the one coming soon proves this.
552 Foo Fighters – The Pretender
One of their heavier moments , so many classics from them in the 00s.
551 Depeche Mode – Wrong
Think Depeche Mode had a bit of a quality revival in the 00s, their mid to late 90s stuff was getting pretty poor.

Yeah I noticed. I wanna know both your top 100s, I'm going to start my own soon. Got a few top 500's from each decade from the 60s-00s so will probably start from 60s and work my way up. I would comment more but all the vids kills my browser. Got a new phone now so that loads a lot quicker woo

Eminem "Stan" finished at #565 in your chart of the 00s.
In the one I created based on points that finished in mine at #5. Rather a surprise shock in my chart as Eminem flopped with pretty much everything else he ever did.
Belle & Sebastian made no impact in my chart in the 1990s. When they won that brit I was one of those who said "who are they?" It was 2001 they started making a major impact in my chart and "I'm A Cuckoo" reached #1 in my chart for 5 weeks keeping Keane's "Somewhere Only We Know" out at the same time.

They made a bigger impact in my chart in the 00s as well but their 90s stuff is much better even if I didn't chart their early eps
