This is shaping up to be a good series, this tells the story of Commissioner Gordon before Batman, but there is characters that will become, the Penguin, Riddler, The Joker, Harvey Dent, Poison Ivy and Catwoman, to be released on Channel 5 next month. With Bruce Wayne as a child who will later become Batman. Judging by the trailers so far, the series looks pretty good with its dark edge to it, also I'm a big Batman comic book fan, so it be interesting to see where this series goes. The first season consists of 16 episodes, the first episode will re-tell the Batman story from the beginning.

Might give it a go, not big on comic book characters on the whole.

Just watched the season premiere.
Off to a good start in my opinion. It will be very interesting to see how they develop the famous characters from perhaps twenty years prior to the time period of Bruce Wayne as an adult adopting the Batman persona.

I wasn't interested in watching this until I seen the trailer, I might give it a go.

This has got classic written all over it, well scripted and lays the foundations of Bruce Wayne and his villains - Penguin, Catwoman, Riddler and Poison Ivy - very gripping and I was hooked right from the start. Mondays is a great night for TV, and James Gordon's wife Barbara is a hottie. I'm sticking with it to see how the characters grow and morph into their double dopplegangers.

I think you like it, for me the Penguin steals the show, Robert Lord Taylor is just fabulous as The Penguin, all the mannerisms are all there, you just couldn't ask anyone else to fit that role. Hopefully other characters will get fleshed out across the season.

Episode 4 last night but I was only watching ep. 2. I have to play catch up on DVR.
Totally agree that the Penguin is the best character thus far.

Watched the first 2 episodes and hooked. Very good and well written.
Although I was confused at times, wasnt sure what year it was set as the back drop seem to suggest years ago , but they hook up with mobile phones , whether the setting is just set to make the place look dull.
Agree with earlier statements within regards to Penguin being the stand out character so far.
Look forward to seeing more of this. I must admit, I did have to google the batman characters to see who else was being portrayed in the show compared to previous.

Really enjoyed the first episode. Penguin was great, also liked Jada Pinkett-Smith's character. I was a bit confused though about how the stolen pearls re-appeared - I thought the necklace had broken when Bruce's mum was murdered and they got scattered everywhere - yet they were used to frame Poison Ivy's dad....? Will definitely be tuning in for more!

Hopefully other characters will get fleshed out across the season. The Penguin gets the most screen time out of all of the future villains, so I think that's why his character is more fleshed out. Selina Kyle definitely has potential to me. I'm just waiting for when the Joker to appear. I hope we get to see more of the Doll Maker plot arc. It seems too episodic to me but isn't it supposed to be a serial?

See the guy that works for the Police (forensics i think) and talks in riddles , is he the one that is going to be the Riddler? Wasnt sure of the Riddlers background, hence me asking.
