Praying we get rid of Blonde Electra first. No one needs to hear them again.

Great result, we didn't even have to hear the blonde's murdering another song!
Stevie and Stephanie to go next week with any luck

I can't see Stephanie going next week, as she will improve on this week.
Hopefully its Stevi & Jake.

At least Overload Generation and Blonde Electra have gone and hopefully we will never hear from them again.

Second year of not watching it, after spending the previous few years increasingly doing a Steve Brookstein/James Jordan/Kevin Pietersen impersonation over how dreadfully manipulated the show has got, and its nowhere near as good as it used to be, etc.
Still every week I bet on the outcome with my online turf accountant, by going by the odds, tabloids media coverage and online websites and already I'm off to a flyer with the result of tonight's show. (Whilst I watched a brilliant PDC Darts Final between Raymond Van Gerwen vs James Wade). Well done all you suckers who voted tonight, long may you continue to keep me in profit (as I was last year when I watched not one minute of the show) and follow the X-Factor producers Red and Green manipulations.
Still lets hope SCD does not continue to sabotage its own show as Donny Osmond was beyond awful as a cheesy American toupee wearing guest fifth judge with his ridiculously erratic scores.

well if you want to know how s**t it is, go and look at the video for Kitten & the Hip's audition if you didn't already see it. Now that song is #8 in my chart this week and was Milliways's #1 of the month for August, and it's good the way it is, but how exactly do they audition for X-Factor/ Because the guy is older and ugly-looking and is more of a producer / songwriter / instrumentalist type he doesn't fit in with the X-Factor pattern at all so they asked him to leave the group and her to go alone.
Then of cousre she's expected to sing stupid cover versions all the time.. She said she was set up to fail and I left a message on one of her pages telling her she was bet out of that stupid show and back with The Hip making their own music.

If people don't know how the X Factor works by now, more fool them.

I've watched twice as much of this series as all the other series put together. Two times nothing equals nothing.

So the purpose now is to take a bunch of 1980s songs and change all the arrangements on them.
They are so desperate to make it not a karaoke show. But far too often it just doesn't work and is boring. And in the end it's often about whether the rearrangement works and not whether the singer is singing it well. (Remember Ella a few years ago?)
That really boring slowed-down version of Flashdance was just dreadful.
The blues version of Jealous Guy worked ok.

Second week in, and I officially only like two acts - Lauren and Only The Young. Jack I'm slightly on the fence about but is generally good too.
I don't mind Paul, Fleur or Jake either, but everyone else is a waste of space. Worst set of finalists for a long time.
